It has been funny how little actual review is taking place.

Old Dermie on SEN tonight had this well thought piece of rubbish, apparently the replay will be good for Collingwood as we have shown our hand, that said he expects the pies to play with the same tactics as they used last week.

All I am worried about is that the team is 100% focused and play better last week. A few need to actually lift. Dal and Gram if their bodies allow.

Down here, the talk is about Lenny and BJ. In regards to Swan, Didak and Pendlebury, they will only be allowed to lift if our midfield allows it. Swan did some damage in the 1st half but not much in the second. Excellent work by Ray. Didak was shaken from the bump by Zac and also carrying a shoulder injury. Pendlebury was shaken by his heavy fall. Credit to one of the commentators (Lloyd I think...??) who actually backed up the summation above.

Should be an interesting week at the selection table for both teams. Might be some surprise changes to both teams.

I seem to remember Monday HS ran an article stating we have the mental advantage. Think the coverage has been fairly even. Much like the game.
We had a man down, Roo & Dal were quiet, we got smashed early. Yet it was a draw. Think both teams gave it their all, and played most their cards.
Footy Classified last night stated how they were impressed with Ross' moves from the box: Gilbert going forward, Ray onto Swan, etc.

All i can say is I'm pumped about this week and feeling as confident as i was last week.

Same with inside 50s and the amounts of behind scored against us. A lot of those behinds are because to combat the Saints zone teams are forced to long bomb from outside 50 on an angle. Teams like collywobbles go alright roosting a couple early but as they tire percentage drops with accuracy.

And as for inside 50s we let them go in so we can reload a lot. We even go back in there ourselves to reload and take control of the keepings off.

At the parade 12 Coll players were being interviewed and only a couple of Saints - I saw this as an advatage then - and even more now.
They can talk themselves up all they like but they still only kicked two goals against us in that last hectic half when all was on the line.
