Interstater Sainters stuck at Melbourne Airport
Am I the only one, or are there others here waiting in the Virgin Blue terminal to see when/if they can check onto their flight home, if it hasn't already been cancelled? I've seen a few sainters around, perhaps we should have an Interstater Sainters Saintsational convention
For those unaware of the kerfuffle: http://www.virginblue.com.au/MinorIncid ... /index.htm
Basically, an IT glitch in the morning has caused chaos for VB flights throughout the day and into the night...............at least 50 flights cancelled!
Think I'll fly down Qantas on Friday night (given they're the only ones I can book for at the moment at the times I require (I don't consider Tiger an airline fit enough to get me to games in time!)
Perhaps if there's any of us stuck, some nice fellow sainters could offer a couch? (I'll be fine thanks, got a motel lined up if needed)

Lol he is very tall and skinny. He has brown hair and more than likely has a Saints jumper on with signatures on it.perfectionist wrote:And what does your cousin look like?Maxstar22 wrote:My Aunty and cousin are also stuck at the airport trying to get home.
Look for a really tall skinny guy!!!
He just said the VB are paying for his hotel for the night.

I just got home from a flight that ws scheduled at 5:45 - could have been worse though, at least the flight wasn't cancelled. I think it had something to do with it being a connecting flight to LA. Makes me a bit less enthusiastic to do it all again this weekend but I'm sure I'll be over that by the time I get my ticket tomorrow morning!
Greetings from the Crowne Plaza!
All along, 'yep, DJ893 will run'............................................all good. Checked in at 2005, 2015 scheduled departure time, so cool, should get away by 2100ish.
But, no. They rustled together a crew too late to take the flight; in the end, cancelled it at 2135, once they realised they wouldn't beat the Sydney Airport curfew.
So now I'm here (got here 20 min ago), watching F1, thinking, how the hell am I going to make up the lost time at work tomorrow........................and at the same time, trying to actually book onto a flight for tomorrow.......
11am checkout, so I'll get a sleep in at least.
Should just stay in Melbourne for the week!
