It's not Eddie who has grown their supporter base.

It's easy to have a big supporter base in 2010 , when your club played in 31 grand finals from 1897 to 1966. that's one in every 2 years.!

So many people picked them as their team in the formation of the vfl, because of their on field success.

He , and every collingwood committee for the future, inherit that huge supporter base , and every year , it gets bigger and bigger with children born who follow the family club.

The less successful clubs in those years like us, and the roos, dogs etc, have no chance of ever catching up with that generational growth.
