Re: We are a laughing stock
Apparently at the presentation Lethlean offered Shiel a drink, "tea, water, anything you want Dylan, we've got it!" Anyway Dylan asked for a coke, but they didn't have any and all the staff had gone off on break, so Lethlean ducks off to 7-11 to grab some but got lost and couldn't find hi...

Re: 'Go again Lenny' says Coach
Sadly I think Lenny's time is coming a lot quicker than we would like to admit :( I think that's what Rohan Connolly wanted to say, he just didn't have the bile to say it. I don't think anyone wants to but he is getting hurt way too much outside the stoppages. Best for us again but hey he should ma...

To be honest I didn't think that he was anywhere near the worst in that 1st half. Plenty of other blokes who took that position.Cairnsman wrote:His first half was forgettable

Weller looked good once he moved on to Ablett was able to hurt him the other way which worked. Yea Ablett still got the ball but did not hurt us as badly as he did in the 1st half

Re: Suggestion Box
My suggestions - Card system for Moderation, similar to BigFooty and to be placed under username if someone is on a warning. Cards last 1 week then are automatically wiped. - A like system. Gives the posters the chance to easily like a comment without the need to post +1 - More mods, BFUSA has been ...

Ok going to keep it locked. What was needed to be said was. And the last couple of pages have to just gone off track.
From my standpoint no further warnings are needed.

Billings, Longer and Simpkin in. Beau, Savage and Gilbo out. I don't understand the fascination with having two rucks who can't really play forward in the same side. How can Longer and Hickey possibly play together? Would have thought that Hickey proved he could indeed play forward 2 weeks ago.

Billings, Longer and Simpkin in. Beau, Savage and Gilbo out. Was Longer an emergency today? There were reports that he had flown over? Not sure though. Happy to see Lee in for Longer if need be. Billings after his display today is a monty to get back in the 22 and not just as an emergency IMO.

If we bring the same intensity tonight to next weeks game, then we should win.
Great effort by the boys, no one gave us a hope. We showed more guts and determination than both the Dogs and the Dees, we showed that we wont be push overs.

I know you said one positive JB but couldn't limit it to just one. Hard tough footy. The kids! Haven't been this pumped about the youth coming through for ages! The 1%'s, something that has been lacking for a while. The passion - The older blokes are enjoying the ride Roo - this bloke is just unbeli...

Pluggs
I have no issue with people being called out on things. The problem is over the past week things have slowly become personal. That isn't on. That is why this thread is up at the moment.
Do I agree with statements about Hickey. No, but surely we argue those opinions in a mature way?

Re: Time to pull the heads in!
So responding to an insult of a player is childlike. Calling a player a gumby is what then? An intellectual statement. Cuts both ways. A match day thread is a highly emotion live thread. Our club has been bagged thread after thread about the McEvoy trade by a poster. McEvoys replacement called a gu...

Re: Time to pull the heads in!
I have no issue with debate or opinion. However there is a limit to proving one's argument. Most of the time there is plenty of fruitful argument and it is kept civil and mature. There is also a time and a place. That is not during a game day thread where the said poster is not even posting! That is...
