Re: A win
This website has become such a p1ssing contest. So much negativity. So many keyboard experts. Life isn't perfect we won let's see how we develop as the year goes on. So when we perform poorly, do you get more or less confident that we're on the right track? Personally, I get less confident, but tha...

Sorry mate, I want more than a win against a basket case, after a three year rebuild... I want us to be a good team On what I've seen, that we are not, not by a long stretch... in fact, if you were honest, you'd have to agree that we are disappointing at this point in time Yes. Hate to do it, but: "If we go for the best player and we think Petracca is in front, we’re going to have to pay a million plus to get the forward we need. The market is saying that now. So let's get one in now and get him to fall in love with our footy club." That's such a bulls*** line of...

Biggest plus Ross Will go from C Grade to B Grade I hope you're right, we've been waiting a while for him. This will be his 5th year of senior footy and he's only played 37 games. Brad Hill was taken a few picks later in the same draft and has 75 games and 3 premierships under his belt. Others from...

Re: No top ups allowed for us, Port and Dogs
The Essendon Football club has not received any official penalty for it's systematic cheating. Any other "hardship" they may have suffered has been the consequence of their own actions. Any hardship they suffer, the rest of the competition also feels. They're not a separate entity to St K...

It's great that Essendon get to pick from the whole nation of uncontracted senior players to fill their list... And we get to upgrade a player that we've already decided isn't good enough for our senior list. Are you really jealous? They get to choose from players who have proven they're not good e...

Thanks saintbrat. Hopefully this one is easy enough. Name the last four players to wear number 7 for the Saints. I think I can only do three: Dunstan Lenny Nicky That takes us to 87 which is basically when I started watching footy. No idea who it was before that, but since it was the 80s I'm going ...

Re: Carlisle ban?
Just result overall. Finally. Unfortunately it's bad for the competition as a whole. All the clubs are in the same financial boat so any money this costs (for instance in lawyer's fees) is just money out of the pockets of the AFL and therefore of the clubs. The poorest clubs like us are the ones who...

Right, but given Arsenal's injury record of the last six or eight years, not to mention the number of trophies we have on our shelf, it might be worth him rethinking that! The OtherThommo wrote:Arsene Wenger is generally credited with introducing, or at least greatly raising the emphasis on, science to the EPL.

Telstra's work on the club websites hasn't been widely known for its competence.
Sinclair's definitely on the senior list, it just hasn't been updated for whatever reason.

We paid a lot for a guy with terrible injury history and eight weeks later he was injured again. We paid even more for a known d**khead and within eight hours he was in trouble. They were both high risk decisions. Let's hope the long run sees them OK because right now they look dubious in the extreme.

I don't rate Armo as leader (obviously without personal knowledge) and I don't think anyone else is close to the mark, so I think Rooey should stay on. Fair enough but can I ask why you don't rate him as a leader and who will be Captain in the next 2 years if it isn't Armo? No idea who might be cap...
