Milney..?
I heard a horrible whisper yesterday - Milney retiring? It came from a Carlton fan of unknown reliablity (I don't know the bloke) but it wouldn't surprise me, end of an era and all that. I hope not. I love what Milney brings to the game and it will be very hard to replace him when he goes. Hopefully...

I like the fact that AFL is somewhat unique. It has a great history and I don't see why it has to change to become more like 'other' codes. So what if our finals are played in the afternoon? Remember that it is a lot harder to get AFL GF tickets than most other codes, so most people watch it at home...

So who is lurking in the shadows of SKFF?
From the SKFF website: Footy First has canvassed a number of other St Kilda football greats. Whilst they do not wish to be part of an election process, they have indicated strong support for Footy First and a desire to be involved on the sub-committee if Footy First is elected. So when can we expect...

I also think that smarter use of functions could be a real boon for finances. Alot of the current functions are too expensive for general members and thus are only making small profits. I think this is one area that will definitely improve. Ms Nelson seems to have some pretty solid experience in co...

selected carlton_ or just no options out there- the only club with the picks - so what has the last three weeks been about :? Why would Judd give a toss about picks?! He already said he wanted to go to an established club and not have to rebuild, so why has he now decided to go to one of the worst ...

We had our chance to get Judd and we blew it a long time ago. I don't think we were ever a chance to get Judd. He wants good facilities, good medical care, and a good chance at a flag or two. My prediction is that he'll go to Collingwood. Eddie can pull strings, get Twigley in front of a camera, an...

Nobody's saying RB should be 'as good as' Eddy. But to allow Vodafone to sign without mentioning that one of our biggest names is already signed to Telstra shows at best total ignorance, and at worst total disdain, for our sponsors and their commercial priorities. Eddy moves heaven and earth to prov...

I am not saying your wrong brewer but who at collingwood do you think has trade value and is disposable? I may well be wrong, I'm no expert so I'm really working from a gut feel. I would have thought that most of their list fitted that description. They have a lot of young guns that are performing ...

If it comes down to trying to buy Judd with shiny toys, Collingwood will be almost impossible to beat. Yep. They have everything he could want ... except low draft picks. They'll need to trade seriously for that. I would think Collingwood are in an ideal position to trade seriously for low picks. T...

I think you might be being a bit too precious about the member list Joffa. Your private details from all sorts of sources are being traded perfectly legally every day. The privacy act doesn't extend to a club not being able to access its own list. If the club ever sends you anything, then it needs t...

Somehow, I don't think providing a club director with his own membership list is going to be a sackable offence or even an indictment of lax security measures. Staff members do what their superiors tell them to do. That's their job. I can see why a stressed and unhinged director might get his knicke...

I'd put our chances of getting Judd at about 3/5ths of FA. HOWEVER, it doesn't cost a cent to talk to the guy. For all we know he may have a soft spot for St Kilda, friends in Moorabbin, or a secret crush on Robert Harvey. The key to getting Judd is not draft picks, it's about winning Judd himself. ...

Well in this case the leak would not seem to have been likely to have been the Board......but rather someone in Admin. My guess (it's no more than that) is that the member of staff was asked for the member records by one of the directors involved with the rival ticket. The staff member may not have...
