Re: Dal do we under rate him?
He is an absolute gun, but after all these years he still hasn't learnt how to break a tag. If he could do that we'd have probably the best midfielder in the comp, but because he can't we have a guy that in all honesty hasn't played well enough when it really mattered because of those tags. Still a ...

No need, we've already got the next Buddy.

Re: Will there be an upgrade?
Shenton isn't up to it for mine. When someone struggles as much as he did in the VFL I can't see them ever being AFL quality, particularly at his age. He is what he is and unfortunately it isn't very good. We need to find a way to play both Curren and Ferguson as we need to see what we have with the...

Re: If you could get anyone?
Fair call, but my point was midfielders are easily replaced. It's hard getting a key position player of the Franklin/Reid quality so if I'm starting a team I'm going with those guys every time. I mean if Geelong can lose Ablett and still win the flag then any midfielder is replaceable. If a team goe...

Re: If you could get anyone?
Anyone who picks a midfielder might be a little touched in the head. Geelong lost the best mid in the comp and didn't miss a beat, it's key position players that win you games.
If I'm starting a team it's Buddy, if its for our team I'm taking Ben Reid.

Re: Daniel Markworth
Cannot wait for this guy to be in the team, he's going to be one of our most exciting players. High half forward that pushes up to the midfield, has exceptional pace, is a good kick and a great decision maker. Evey touch of his is like gold, just needs to put on some weight and we'll have a star in ...

Re: Our best goal for the year?
It was great. I preferred Saad to Stanley against Carlton more though. This. My favourite goal of the year. There was another great Stanley goal against Hawthorn where he started at half back, burnt his opponent running towards the F50 then got the handball receive and ran to 30m then kicked the go...

Re: Tom Curren
He's an absolute ball magnet with genuine speed. Whoever says he lacks pace obviously hasn't seen him play. Gets among the goals as well. I haven't seen any issues with his kicking. Would be close to Sandy's best player this year and I agree with the person who said he has probably been better than ...

Re: Roos says Saints have Underachieved
The difference in the age bracket of our players was too much. Seemed like all of our players were either 19 or 28 which means its a lot of second and first year players to go with those stars and at this stage of their early careers it was too much. Watters did some experimenting with the list as w...

Should we/could we/would we roll the dice and rush him back? I know he is a guy who needs to regain touch and timing and takes a few games to warm up - but I just honestly cant see us beating the cats with Wilkes, Ben, Kosi as our 3 talls. Did you learn nothing from the game against North? What's t...

They've been doing that for 19 years. If you want a more serious show there's about a million other ones, TFS is for a laugh.Viking3 wrote:Stopped watching TFS as it is more about Lyon/Newman/Brayshaw than footy.
