it might be reaching a bit far back for some, but..... Dean Anderson (i think we got him from the hawks) Steven Newport (made an artform out of jogging on the spot, not getting the ball and panicking when it accidentally fell into his hands. I also seem to remember that we delisted and then used our...

Re: 10,000 question

has it been done before? during his 350th Game the commentators remarked that Harves had over 9,000 possessions Stats.rleague has him on Harvey, Robert 8393 BUT it's only 1991 - 2007 I seem to recall during his 350th or in a news article that week that he has touched the footy more times than any p...

Great post dborsky. I guess it's feasible that a player could have an allograph if they were at the end of the career and 4-5 months out from finals and GF with their last chance at a premiership. I wonder if any player has ever had one of these to recover from a torn ACL? Purely a guess, but Libba...

When someone tears their ACL it cannot be repaired itself thus the recovery. But is it sewn back together or is it replaced with some other kind of connective tissue? i think you can have a bit of your hamstring or you patella tendon grafted on. i think. If they can do that couldn't they do a simil...

why wouldn't they cut out the middle man and trade Fev straight to WC? i hear West Coast are interested in him, so its pointless trading him to us for pick 9, then pick 9 to WC with big Q up and running, Hunter around to help him out with Seaby or even Hansen as a third tall forward, i would be sur...

does Judd to the blues help our chance of ending up with fev

i too heard that apparently we weren't interested in him. but the facts remain; 1 - We could certainly use a talented full forward 2 - Judd is going to the blues 3 - they have said they won't give up pick one, the result of which is that they will most probably need to trade for another pick in the ...

The Finals Equation

I have been going over this in my head since the draw between the Lions and Sydney last night, and this is what i have come to. First, i am only looking at teams that can catch us from below, not really focused on whether or not we can move up, just who can push us out. But for those who are interes...

first, if he did his acl he would not have been in pain necessarily, if you pop it clean it doesn't hurt at all, you hear hear a popping sound second, acl means he won't be back till the second half of next season and pcl means back for round one... massive difference. third, its hard to say what he...
