Re: Rookie Ruckman We Are Into

We need to rookie Barron Trump 206cm Daddy is allegedly very wealthy, will not tolerate opposition, could be very persuasive to have opposition ruckmen feign injury. He could be a rookie "B" having been "born in the USA". Feign - you don't hear that a lot anymore Trouble i...

Re: Women's AFL

It is trying to be something that it's not capable of being. It's not a skilled game, so stop trying to play like the players are hihgly skilled. Revert back to a positional game like footy used to be. Encourage more 1:1 contests around the ground. It might be worth looking at implementing zones in ...

Re: I want pick 2

Nice work but I would rather Keep pick 7,8,32 we could get 3 players in and being such a strong draft 32 would probably be a good player as well. St Kilda has too many "good" players but is missing "elite" players. You need an elite team to win a premiership, you need a good tea...

Re: Brodie Kemp

Feels like we should be playing Cordy and our young backs rather than payong what Carlton might ask for. Playing Cordy does not improve our team. Yeah, if the choice is Cordy or Kemp with no cost you take Kemp. But paying a second round pick + whatever else (noting he played over 20 games last seas...

Re: GWS Players in the gun. AFL has gone mad.

I read that the AFL is investigating. The article quotes the AFL "The AFL and GWS have been undertaking an investigation into the Giants players' post-season event, which is in its final stages." GWS have said "the Giants are aware of an anonymous allegation of inappropriate behaviour...

Yes. 1cm difference in height to Battle and can take the third tall and intercept when needed.

I’ll look it up
Not much. Only coming back from injury to get injured again.
It's a pity. He can play when he's fit. But, clearly, his body is not made for the rigours of AFL football.

So, if we're OK with his fitness, I'd be for him.

He's very tall.
Has the ability...Not the body.

Has not got on the park much in years.
Would be a terrible choice. No good having a back up ruckman that is ten times more likely to be injured than the main ruckman.
Preuss did a hammy last season running onto the ground at the start of the match...I kid you not.

Re: Core of our next 🏆

I think we had pretty weak leadership on the field, and although we can look at the coaching in the that time, the players needed to stand up and play with more pride. That's a massive call and a blight (pardon the pun) on Loewe, Burke, and Harvey in particular. My theory about coaches has played o...

We had a team in 1997 that made a Grand Final with some super stars and multiple AA's and then a few years later we went to the bottom of the ladder. Re: 6 v 7

Beveridge makes it difficult for his team when he puts 3 tall roosters into the forward line …all demanding the footy. It’s not like only 1 of those guys acts as the spearhead with a support act and a 3rd tall. They’re all spearheads!! They all want to be the dominant forward. Beveridge struggled t...

Happened to Rory Lobbe when Beveridge tried to play him as a Forward/fill in ruckman..crazy decision when they already had Sam Darcy, Aaron Naughton and Jamara... perhaps Beveridge thought Tim English was heading West. Lobb was Fremantle's leading goal kicker the year that the Dogs recruited him. N...

I read somewhere that recruiting Battle and Barass would allow Sicily to play forward
That would be foolish. Sicily's intercept marking and ball use is one of the Hawk's best weapons.
