It's annoying to lose the guy we drafted with pick 8, but we got the guy drafted with pick 3 the same year.

We needed the player we thought Gresh was going to be, not the player he ended up being. I still don't really understand why they tried making him a mid, when he was very good as a half forward early on.

He was pick 9 in 2019, averaged 20 possessions in 16 games this year, including a 32 and 33 from memory, despite not reaching 50 games yet, is quick, and cost us less than some had anticipated. Finding fault with this trade is really looking at it as a glass half empty.

That was diabolical. There's not even a chance for redemption next week.

He has been very good, and yesterday he was very composed and involved. It was amusing seeing him standing near Sinclair at one point. Sincs has massive calves, while Nas has twigs!

I hope he improves and becomes the player we all hope he'll become. If he left I'd be disappointed but not devastated at the moment.

That mark he took was magnificent. It required a lot of skill and balls. He's a great addition to the side.

It's great when players actually make it. Paton showed good signs early on, while DMac took a bit longer to get a consistent run in the side. Paton's done very well to return successfully from a bad injury.

I'm looking at thr Breen entry in the Heroes With Haloes book. It looks like his father played for Kerry before migrating to Australia. Barry was recruited from De La Salle College and played juniors for Mentone. Tasmania doesn't crack a mention. He played for Victoria.

Players usually come on after their 50th game, and he's now played 64 or something like that.

It wasn't an amazing performance, but I heard just before that we've won 1 out of 15 or something in Perth since 2012, so I'll take it.
