Barrat will be a forward, no doubt. Membrey replacement.
If we were looking for a forward, wouldn't we have drafted Whitlock?

Re: Draft Preferences

I'm concerned about not taking a mid, however if all the good ones are gone and what's left is similar to what we already have. Then what do you do?

I don't think Tauru will still be there by our first pick. hopefully that'll leave at least one of the good mids for us.

Would love to see the math on how a couple of 80 minute plane rides over 5 weeks is going to derail our whole season 8-) Have you ever flown regularly? I think it will be more than a couple of flights. Flying at altitude does impact on people, some more than others. I don't feel normal and am usual...

Re: I Was Actually There : NickyWinmar’s Stand Against Racism

I was there and remember Winmar lifting the guernsey and pointing to his skin. What is often forgotten about the game was Gilbert McAdam's role. He kept Winmar calm all the way through the game, was constantly in Winmar's ear during the game. He also had an almighty game himself, didn't he kick 6 th...

Sporting Clubs don't understand the game, you need to bribe Councillors like developers do.
Councils are just an unnecessary third level of Government.

Re: GWS Players in the gun. AFL has gone mad.

Maybe the real conversation that should be had is whether the suspensions and fines are fair. I think the suspensions are ridiculous. One game would be the absolute maximum I would have thought and definitely the fines. The other discussion should be how useless the Player's Association has been wh...

Nuance, St D. Considering a third party dobber despicable in no way expresses sympathy for Haynes. (Conviction quashed, charges dropped, nevertheless a low life). In the same vein it does not condone oafish behaviour from the GWS not so funsters. People are entitled to opinions without being verbal...

I'm more concerned by the fact that if Haynes weren't a relatively wealthy man, he'd be serving a long prison sentence for a crime he possibly didn't commit. In comparison I couldn't give a s*** if an intolerant little dobber needs to find another job. So many words to basically say you haven't rea...

Ha, I like that. If employers want to reach into their employees private life, perhaps they can pay them for those hours. Otherwise butt out.

Re: I want pick 2

We could possibly get pick 2 by offering 7 or 8; 32 and next year's first pick. The question is, will we get someone significantly better with pick 2 than we would with pick 7 or 8? If so we should do it. There is also the option of trading our future 1st and 32 for a third (later) first rounder. I'...
