Analysis of tactics against Port

Thought some people might find this piece interesting - it goes into a bit of depth on how we beat the Power at the stoppages on the weekend. https://bit.ly/39wGNzc It was written by a mate of mine who was due to take up a role with the Swans analytics team before the shutdown, very bright footy bra...

Re: 2016 Fixture

This is the fifth season of having two teams up here in Sydney - we've never had two games here in a season and in 2016 we get none. Fantastic.

Re: 2015 ISC on field range

I was told by the club that there was a delay in finalizing the 2015 gear - perhaps a potential sponsor fell through or something. Still with ISC though. The gear should be out later this month.

Re: Sell out?

Might be worth trying North to see if they have any tickets available. I booked flights from Sydney without looking at the ticket situation - the only way I could get in was to become a North member for $50. Not ideal but better than flying to Hobart to spend the day at the pub.

aprils fools day - little guernsey on a window suction cup - enjoy? No, it's legit - they are doing the same up in Sydney for the Dragons and handing out $150 jumpers for the $50 bet. The only catch is that the offer doesn't apply if you already have an account so my dear girlfriend and father have...

You would have to think so - effectively we finish on 6 points which is better than any of the other teams who lost a game

2011 Guernseys - Home and Alternate

As seen in an earlier post - black cuffs, all black back which looked great on the NAB jumpers this year. http://www.goodscore.com.au/images/pics/aflclothing/saint11/1.jpg New alternate strip - more white used to form the cross synonymous with St.Kilda http://www.goodscore.com.au/images/pics/aflclot...

Basically any decent young player in Sydney trained and played with GWS this year - my club has Collingwood and Freo scholarship holders and they played for GWS most weeks. Nothing to worry about.

Yes, I'm a passionate supporter and member / season ticket holder of both. Had booked my NRL tickets a while back (it's always going to be the Dragons year as far as I'm concerned!) and will be flying down for the game on Saturday and returning in the evening. I'm nearly 30 and haven't seen either o...

I just got home from a flight that ws scheduled at 5:45 - could have been worse though, at least the flight wasn't cancelled. I think it had something to do with it being a connecting flight to LA. Makes me a bit less enthusiastic to do it all again this weekend but I'm sure I'll be over that by the...

Coming down from Sydney again - it's a costly exercise and I have to fly straight back to see my other love, the Dragons, play the GF on Sunday afternoon. It could be the best weekend ever... or the worst.

As long as the quality is there... $90 for a really good one is surely better than $60 for a piece of crap. But it's the first time I've seen the NAB cup strip... https://console.clubsonline.com.au/shopproducts/images/main/nabcupguern_main.jpg Looks like the work experience kid at ISC had the plans...

The Piping Hot and Skins gear was made by Sekem - it was only sponsored by those two companies. Same deal with the Bulldogs and Diadora. There were a few years where all of the merchandise designs were identical but the clubs had different clothing sponsors.

The game is on Saturday

This is incomplete.

There should be 8 INs as this is only an indicative squad of 25 (for a Sunday game) with the selected 22 and emergencies named tomorrow.

UNfortunately the players won't be attending the post-match function. See below: The Saints are headed to Sydney this week and can't wait to take on the Swans this Saturday evening. A surefire way to irritate the supporters is telling them that they don't even know the rules. It works a treat every time. I'm going up for the game.... any suggestions of things I should yell? I'm thinkin "Kick it to Barry, Kick it to Barry.... where's Barry??".... and "You're not t...

Highly recommend the function - it's usually hosted by Rhys Muldoon, all the players are in attendance and there is always a few interviews on stage, chance to meet the players, get autographs, buy merchandise etc. Probably not that exciting if you can go to Etihad each week, but they do make all of...

The Alexandria is your best bet - it is the home of the Saints NSW based supporters club and usually a few Saints get down there kitted out to yell at the tele. Failing that, it will definitely be on at the Forest Lodge which is on Arundel St, Forest Lodge (just off Parramatta Rd near Sydney Uni). A...

If you're a NSW based member the club provides you with a ticket - last year it was in front of the Messenger Stand, the year before it was with the cheer squad out at ANZ Stadium - it's hard to say where everyone will sit until the club distributes the tickets. In any case, I don't think it will be...

Just a reminder that tickets went on sale for the game against Hawthorn today - I wasn't able to get any reserved seating so it looks like all the visiting Saints will be in the GA area. Hopefully there is an area set aside for Saints fans at the match!

Good news for Saints fans in NSW with the game agains the Cats being broadcast live on Main Event (518) due to the Swans game being on both FS 1 and Channel 7... because having the Swans on one network is clearly never enough. Broadcast info for other states and territories is available on the AFL w...
