Re: Australia in India: Train Wreck?
Was very hard to watch that senseless self destruction . No fighting spirit & no idea of how to play in these conditions . Game was lost yesterday when we let them back in the game but I wasn't surprised

Re: Wanganeen-Milera
Get his signature on the line that is dotted. If he hasn't re-signed by the start of the season, it is a worry. I'm hoping that it is already a done deal and will announce soon for a bit of a boost before Round 1 I'm not so sure I think he will wait until the end of the season see how he goes &...

Re: West Indies in Australia.. Train wreck?
Australia are so s*** in India Yeah we folded like wet carboard but like every other cricketing nation including Australia they prepare wickets that suit their chances of winning the series & we were just not up to it & the next pitch won't be any easier . Their batting depth especially on ...

Reinventing history again are we? You have a very sick mind. And I didn't derail this thread . Posters like you engaging in personal insults and abuse did. Par for the course from you. Let's make it simple. Are you Stinger? Yes or no. Did you go to Urban Dictionary, search 'Cho' and then post the d...

Re: Training today
I saw RTB in a posted training video he has been enjoying the good life hasnt he. Its not a great look for the head coach of a professional sporting outfit to look so out of shape. He is not Stuart Dew size, but he could do with some intervention from Misson & Walsh to grab him and get him spen...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=P5ztoaVScPc Great closing speed, ferrous tackler, decent foot skills . I don't know a lot about the kid & a highlight reel might only show his good points but it was impressive to me anyway . I hope he can have a positive impact when & if he p...

NWM will be a gun player , we just need to keep him . How we do that is difficult but I'm hoping the blokes in charge can make it happen sooner than later .

Re: Hayes now injured
Two key forwards down. Obviously that’s less than ideal. Ross will work something out structurally no doubt. Maybe just put the biggest lug he can find down there to contest and bring it to ground. Maybe Membrey as a leading target and surround them with mobile types who can kick goals under pressu...

Re: Still at the club??
Jarryn Geary - excellent captain Some who played under both, preferred him to Riewoldt No disrespect to Geary but I think Riewoldt would be a lot more demanding of players hence players might like him more but very different players in very different teams . I respect both but IMO only Riewoldt is ...

Just had my hip replaced , 2 months in & all going pretty good & surgeon expects me to be back to full mobility in 6 months & I'm 60. Obviously a hip is very different to a shoulder but Max is half my age & will have the best of the best rehab at his disposal so I'm bullish that he ...

Have you ever had a reconstruction on any joint? Physio 3 x per week Hydro 2 x per week Followed by a Weights program Surgeon told me straight out (after an ankle reco) once operated on, joint will never get back to what it was, no matter what, just a fact. It’s a joint that’s been broken, therefor...

Re: Saints Academy gears up for big 2023
Given the new rules An academy is almost a waste of money At best you get a late third rounder or Cat B rookie The odds of them becoming any good is very low Windhager - luck he had a back injury Owens - under new rules wouldn’t have been eligible to us McKenzie - we helped develop him, to be draft...

I just hope he doesn't get homesick & do a Horne Francis after a year . Still worried about NWM flying the coop at the end of the season would be devastating if we can't hold on to both of them ,fingers crossed we give them a reason to buy in

Billings, Gresham, Sinclair, Battle, Clark, Coffield, King and Bytel. It would be nice to see our best draft picks all turn it on at once and compliment our recent trading with a top 4 finish. Regardless of the fixture. Pretty much agree with the players you have listed I would add Howard & Lon...

https://youtu.be/0KCYVUqdBYc https://youtu.be/8RJtU6X0pTY Thanks Kosi just watched the match & yeah we were ok but it's just a scratch match & very difficult to gauge that performance when both sides weren't really playing for sheep stations. I guess we will see pretty soon when we are play...

Re: Tassie's Ultimation to AFL:
I am interested if anyone cares whether Norf or the Squawks play out of Tassie. Its like threatening to close a pinball arcade because they can't get a major theme park. Isn't it? If they could support a team they'd have one already, wouldn't they? North Tasmania Football Club. Do they have Kangaro...

It’s a low level shin splint thing due to all the work he’s doing building a base coming back from the knee and other injury according to someone on uncensored. Should be fine for round 1, 2020 I had shin splints back in the late 80's early 90' & they are extremely painful & back in the day...

Re: Jack Bytel's progress from his back injury
Jack is going to have to work real hard to push into the side this year, I can't see it happening unless the wheels fall off. If he's lucky he might get a debut but I'm guessing it will be well into the back half of the season. If he is as good as has been stated then he should walk into the team. ...

Re: Season 2020 - a repeat of 2008 - 2010??
There has been some astute off-field recruits (eg. Slater, Roughead) that could offer that intangible quality that you refer to SamuraiSaint. I agree that off field decisions are nearly as important as on field decisions .It's similar to the Hawthorn model & it's worked well for them so I am ho...
