Re: Daniel McKenzie
As the recruiting gets better and younger players hopefully improve then the average type players will drop off until the side is competitive and can make the 8

Re: Geary still skipper for 2019? Hannebery VC?
The Captaincy should go to a stalwart, not some player waltzing in from another club with (currently) no long term connection or commitment. It has to be earned, not given. Agree Enrico, although I am sure this stuff surfaced in another thread a few months ago where there was a bit of a push in the...

Doesn't matter how many times you post on this forum. Doesn't matter if you have played at a higher level than I have. It won't change the fact that you have s*** for brains. In fact the more you post it has the reverse effect of what you are trying to achieve. You're too dumb to realsie it Hey ski...

Re: Can slower midfields win games?
Armo, Steven, Seb Ross and Newnes have all had time in the AFL as professional full time footballers (and have all hit their peak imo). Acres, Sinclair, Dunstan and Billings are still relatively young so there is a chance they can take their game to another level. Let's give Parker and Robbie Young...

I can call you something a bit nastier than a troll if you want to go down that path.... The saints forum is lucky enough to have me all to themselves.. Your last 2 posts have basically been riddles and with no input on the subject matter, why is that? You go your hardest, call me anything you like...

Re: Daniel McKenzie
Meters gained is misleading - terrible players are much more likely to bomb it long for a turnover. Especially out of the backline. Forwards have more bloated metres gained stats than backs. They have long kicks built into their job description. The longest average disposal on the team was Paddy Mc...

How many opp boards do you troll chico? The commitment is phenomenal. Whats the problem dragit? You don't like the discussion I put forward. Nah I dig it, just wondering how many boards you do this on? Don't know how you CBF'd TBH. "Don't know how you CBF'd TBH." You might have to explain...

Re: St Kilda has pinned its faith on four mature-aged recruits leading into 2019
Where has it ever been stated or confirmed that the Saints only picked good kids from good homes? I think you will find that the majority of 18 year old kids that get drafted are good kids in general and do the right things in life and they do come from decent homes. Its probably one of the reasons...

Re: Daniel McKenzie
I like him but his disposal is fairly average and conservative, unsure if he can improve that to a level required. Defensive skills, marking and run are very good but lacks some polish at this stage. Don't understand why people think his disposal is poor or average. He was ranked FIRST for effectiv...

Re: Daniel McKenzie
In terms of metres gained per disposal, DMac would seem to be among our more conservative defenders: Shane Savage 18.48 Jimmy Webster 16.11 Bailey Rice 16.07 Brandon White 15.86 Sam Gilbert 15.08 Logan Austin 13.03 Daniel McKenzie 12.48 Jarryn Geary 11.68 Jake Carlisle 10.37 Nathan Brown 9.2 Metres...

Re: Saints homeward bound!!
Still waiting for Dave's plan. The one that details how this move can take place. How a financially strapped club can simply now afford to build a $500,000,000 venue, without government assistance and without AFL assistance, on land we don't have and without any guarantees that games would be sched...

Re: Can slower midfields win games?
I have nothing against anyone of these guys individually but as a whole it doesn't look like we are solving our outside run problem anytime soon Makes me wonder about the distinction between inside-outside and it’s relationship-if there is such- “good” ruckman. I know it is so easy to point out tha...

Re: Can slower midfields win games?
I am baffled by the treatment of Sinclair. a year ago he was our only elite player when he played as mainly as a small forward. So this year we move him from that role and make him play more in defence at in the middle. Why? Seriously I don't get it. When did being a small forward become a bad thin...
