Re: Game day...I'm looking forward to it
Big night for Siposs and Stanley. Both were very disappointing last year, but tonight along with Maister will be the targets up forward. Time for two much-hyped players to stand up.

Re: Leadership Group Vote - Geary - AFL.com article
 jesus christ a s*** bounce of a footy in 2010 and a couple of goals in 2009 (plus ball on the bench and bartel shutting lenny down) and we'd all be saying who gives a crap about a generation gap with two premiership posters framed on my wall i think i could accept a generation gap in the tea...

Re: Welcome home Mr R Harvey
Strangely enough I have faith in the club that they won't appoint Harvey just because of the esteem he is held in.
My reason is that he went for the job two years ago, and the club weren't scared to tell him he was a long way off the pace.

Re: Should Kosi and Milney play this week
Not the week for Kosi for all of the reasons mentioned above. As for Milney, incredibly tough. If one assumes that he is going to return at some point, then this week seems about as good a week as any. Bloody difficult though, and I worry about the tension between supporters of the respective clubs,...

Re: Changes v Carlton
Good chance of a win so bring Kosi in for his two hundred. Milney and Roo no doubt champing at the bit to win for him. Lee can have a rest backing up from Perth. TDL and Milera or Saad out. You are joking dropping a young guy kicking 3 goals. Unless he is injured he will not be dropped and that is ...

Standing Down as a Mod.
Hi guys, Over the past 18 months, my ability to commit to this site has dwindled. The Saints and this site remain a passion of mine, however it is no longer appropriate for me to remain as a moderator given that I simply cannot fulfil the duties necessary due to other interests and commitments in my...

Re: Changes vs the Weagles
Very few options left. Genuinely bereft of ideas.
In: Schneider (if fit), Ledger, Lee
Out: Saad, Hickey, Siposs (if Schneider is fit)
Unsure on Jones, Maister, Dennis-Lane too (we need selection integrity)

Re: Milne, Saad or Milera
Is it time to play a mid/ small forward instead of a small forward/ nothing . I'm not sure. Milera and saad have been just average all year. Maybe they don't function prop until we have 2-3 tall forwards working well first. Yeah but you could argue that if we played a midfielder up there the situat...

Entirely. Our defensive unit is going OK, no need to make changes at the moment. Only bloke he could replace is StanleySainterK wrote:I reckon it's his lack of versatility that holds him back.

Re: Milne, Saad or Milera
I reckon Milera and Saad have a fundamental flaw in their game. When the ball is in dispute they try to do the flashy things like tapping the ball up into the air either to try and grab it above a player or to try and get a second tap at it to get it over a players head so they can run onto the che...

Re: Milera
Honestly, his career is at the crossroads. His pressure, second efforts and even basic intent at the ball just not good enough. He coughed it up a couple of times under pressure. He is too good for VFL, and is good enough for AFL level if he applies himself. At the moment, he is nowhere near it. +1
