Re: Jack Bytel training with Collingwood
Typical saints. Bytel not good enough to get a game or a fair go with us but gets signed by the premiership team. I hope you star with them Jack and go on and have a good career which was denied to you at Moorabbin. How'd that work out for Luke Dunstan? If he's good enough, he'll make it. To this p...

Re: DFC
Well it's got a pretty good recovery pool for starters that the players use a fair bit so I'd say that would help. It has a big focus on reintegrating and looking after past players where, in the long run, will be a significant driver in creating a culture that breeds an additional incentive for buy...

Re: Roughead resigns
Nope. Applying pressure is fine but to do a drag-down tackle from behind when he had already gotten rid of the ball was plain sloppy and a good example of why assistant coaches/staff shouldn't get that involved in training drills.

Re: AFLW - Great Win
Such a cracking game but it's a real shame that only 2000 bothered to turn up. Would be nice to see the boys lend abit of support every now and then by getting down to a game. Still got a way to go in working towards a one-club environment. The Demons do it well and I'm sure that's a big factor in w...

Re: Thank god!!!
Marshall loved Ryder's support and said that aside from learning a great deal about ruck craft under Paddy, he reckons the experience will extend his career from a physical perspective. Marshall was awesome in 2019 for sure but his actual ruckwork this year was unreal. Row's development was not stif...

Re: Coffield for macrae plus a pick
Great idea and he'd be exactly the type of player we need for now. Aside from freeing up cap space, it would also allow for Bailey Smith to get the midfield minutes that he's after.

Re: Gresham
We want to keep him for the right price and have been advised by his manager to not put forward a contract offer so as to not compromise potential offers elsewhere i.e showing our hand as to what we value him at. If he gets a free agency offer that sits in the ballpark of where we feel is right for ...

I am still trying to find a way of watching the game here in Fiji. If I don’t get the game, Fiji might be wiped off the face of the map. https://www.afl.com.au/matches/broadcast-guide/watch-afl#:~:text=Get%20WatchAFL%2C%20the%20official%20international,demand%20when%20you're%20overseas.&text=Wa...

Re: Level one noise levels.
Such a good atmosphere! Good to see the wing members pull their fingers out for once and get loud. Aisle 29 firing up the Mason Wood chant was the highlight! Haven’t had one of those since Milney kicked 11 against the Lions. Standard set for Sainters, on and off the field!

Re: Meh to the Sharman doubters.
Not sure if anyone picked up on this but his tackling technique was slightly different this week, there was 2 tackles of note, including the Vlaustin tackle where the tackle started off in his customary intimate hug/sexual advance and ended with a more traditional attempt to take the player to groun...

Re: Hunter vs Peris
Probably a couple of reasons; Peris coming in for Higgins/Billings as the second small forward. Also, Hunter has played one game at Sandy since returning from injury whereas Peris has played all year. Hunter as the sub would be a good move!

Re: How's Paddy?
Paddy is a human being trying to do what he wants to do in life. Everyone knows his journey so if sympathy and perhaps general concern about his welfare isn't your go, then I'm sure basic respect as a middle-ground sentiment shouldn't be that hard to reach... It's not so much about respect but for ...

Re: Dougal Howard
Doug definitely had a stinker no doubt about it but some of the comments here just reeks of hysterical nonsense. Doug has been rock solid for most of this season and has more than ably assisted Wilkie and Battle. Our pressure on the ball carrier was nothing short of putrid so good luck defending tha...

Re: Jade, staying or going
A lot of water to go under the bridge but it's looking like a win-win scenario at this point in time. If he stays then I think that's great but if he goes we would be in a position to potentially match the bid and force a trade.
