CQ Saint is correct.
The AFL say every goal is reviewed and checked - what happened in this case ?
Looks like a very costly error and makes the ARC a farce.

Re: Cooper “Scoops” Grech with his latest exclusive report
Above is the exact reason why people have abandoned this site, most followers want an engagement of ideas, hopes and information, - not abuse. The repeated sniping reveals some little bullies with big insecurities. What could be a brilliant platform is being destroyed by a few. Hope you're pleased w...

Re: Sharman
For a young fella with only a few games under his belt, there looks to be some class to work with. Forget stats or who he played on, those with some footy nous can see a potential player there. Hope he works hard, is managed well and gets more opportunities. We never know what we might have here.

Yes a very worthy thread…
My vote would go to Matthew Scarlett, Banger should’ve wiped him then and there !

What ! - so you're calling out bad boorish behaviour now pal. From someone who's singlehandedly bullied and bored people witless until they abandon a (once good forum).
Hope you're enjoying your little fishbowl.

Yes pity to see anyone leave like this.
Tough times atm, - good to have entertainment and robust discussion but don't be too hard on each other.
You can never be sure where some people are at personally.

Re: A Missed Opportunity. Big Time.
I think the OP makes some good points, the main one being mental toughness. There were many times in the season where we seemed bereft of on-field leadership. When the time came for someone to stand up and stop the flow, no one except possibly Jack Steele had the capacity to do it. Hence the excruci...

Re: Who remonstrated with Cotchin ?
No point blaming the Umps gents. Its Cotchin's 'MO' and most great sides are 'unsociable' - we should've been ready for it. A decent fight would've shown we were there with intent to win. Instead we were jumped and allowed ourselves to be intimidated. If we want to play with the 'big boys' we've got...

It should have been the whole 18 + the bench, smug little banker.

Good stat Faulky - obviously ground environs play a significant role in a teams psyche, we should take confidence from this fact and use it to our advantage rather than just blindly bag it out.

Re: I reckon we should try and jag Adam Saad
A good thought Pelican, I was eyeing him off a few years ago. Has that rare ability to break the lines which makes things happen. Obviously Dodoro will be feeling the pressure of the Bombers failings so might be worth a try. Truth is - we dislike Dodoro because he drives a very hard bargain, somethi...

Billings to half back ?
Getting a bit weary of seeing Jack not quite becoming the player we all know he could be. We definitely could use his disposal skills off half back. Distinct lack of confidence by foot often sees us go sideways, Jack is the sort of kick that can 'hit up' the corridor and break the play open. He seem...

Re: The knock on Steele’s attitude
'Wow' some posters are sensitive aren't they !!! Or just insecure....Skeptics point, however made - is a good one. At times this year we seem to have lacked on-field leadership. Geary has undoubted leadership talents but his position is surely coming to an end. Perhaps Jack Steel is the man, he seem...

Re: Future of AFL Competition 2021 and beyond
Actually when Chris Scott opens his mouth i my 'smarm-meter' goes off the scale. He is not the custodian of the game that he seems to think he is. The coaches have shown themselves to be very poor judges when it comes to assessing whats good for the future of the game. Meddle with it at your own per...

With all respect samoht - perhaps recommending that we read ‘The Fugitive Soldier’ isn’t such a great idea for you. I’ve got better things to do than waste time reading any more of your twaddle ! Of course Richo has to go....his job is to win games or at least set us in the right direction. Winning,...

The most influential player presence I've ever seen bar none. Ablett - Carey - Matthews..... all brilliant and tough but no one ever took the game (or the opposition) by the throat like the big fella. When Ricky Kennedy won't come near ya - you' know you've got the entire competition intimidated. We...

Freeza looked alright
Few casual observations from Sandy today.
Freeman looked every bit a top shelf player.
The way he asserted himself by voice, attitude and position showed - if fit ! he'll be a very fine acquisition.
No doubt he'd been told to ease himself through.
Looks well prepared, determined and focussed.
