And Carlton has won one premiership since the salary cap was created. And they breached it.

Barass to Hawthorn - Battle still needed?

Barass has requested a trade to Hawks - does this mean if they pay him what he is worth, Battle is still required? Not easy to bring in 2 seasoned and pricey defenders of a similar ilk.

Bassat has a lot to answer for

After a year of exploration, we have no chance to make the finals in year two in fact we are a likely to finish bottom three. He tried to make a power move and a coup most of us hated to start with. We ran along with it to see what happens as the early results were good as they often are with a new ...

Re: Phantom Draft

As long as they are Private Schooled they will be excellent. I would love to add some grunt and toughness anywhere on the field for us like a Maynard. So many times when there is a opposition player bullying someone on our team. Very few go to their aid. If you look at Collingwood any time someone ...

Someone who won’t miss the easy goals like our current crop do . Goal kicking tends to be a natural instinct rather than something you can build. This guy seem...

His consistency this early in his career has been extraordinary.
He just doesn’t seem to make mistakes.

Re: Fans biggest misses

But seriously folks, I thought Phil Narkle was going to be a champ. I thought Lappin would be broken in half in his first 20 games. I thought Tim Elliot would revolutionise the ruckman role. Barry Hall would end up a sad story like Rocket Owen. Like most small forwards Milny wouldn’t last. Kozzie wo...

Re: Fans biggest misses

Retro round around the corner thought I would put out to everyone to see who is willing to admit which players they got terribly wrong at the start either rated and weren't as good or didn't rate and were good. For me didn't rate and ended up good: Shannahan - watched first couple reserves and seni...
