Tim has been a fantastic clubman and I believe exceeded all of our expectations when he came to us from Sydney for a packet of chips. His vertical leap and excellent kicking will always be his trademark and I wish him all the best if he does decide to leave the club

I really would love for us to bring in Murphy Reid with one of those first rounders - seen a few videos of the boy and he just oozes footy smarts and his disposal is sublime. He's a bit on the lean side so will need to add some bulk but he is one intelligent footballer.

So disappointed in Battle for choosing to go to Hawthorn for less money - anyway, Band 1 compo would definitely help ease the pain. I hope we whip Hawthorn's ass when we next play them!

Nine’s Tom Morris reported the Hawks’ offer accepted by Battle was less lucrative than the Saints’ bid which virtually rules out that Band 1 compo it seems.
