Re: What’s up with Paddy?

I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a player like Paddy this year. He's been a colossus this year and he was again today as well. - Viscount Jeremiah Visc you're only saying what I've been thinking for a good while now. Losing Paddy is brutal, Paddy is simply Awesome. I have to admit I thoug...

Missing Paddy Big time already Paddy

Really really disappointed Paddy cannot play. From beautiful ruck taps to Marks & sweet shots at goal Paddy is a Gem. Good luck sainters :) Paddy will leave a big hole as he was possibly BOG yesterday. From what we have seen of Abbott he isnt up to it at the level, so against Richmond I would co...

Re: So what’s the verdict on the ruck?

I focused on Paddy Ryder a fair bit throughout the game & he didn't disappoint. All the best Paddy, really enjoyed your game tonight. At the other end of the age spectrum Marshall generates plenty of class & enthusiasm keeping the whole show moving forward. And he kicks goals, a great young ...

Best win I’ve seen in ages The whole game... we only got stronger. Had issues with injury, kicked 12.1 Membrey kicked a beaut Hunter was incredible Hill bounced back The rucks worked well A 4 quarter effort launched us to third... and a small but very vocal Saints crowd at the game sang our song fo...

Saints Home Ground

Trev I never liked 'colonial' or 'etihad' for that matter as names for St.Kilda's home ground. So personally I always referred to 'the Dome' & still do.

Josh Bruce to remain at St. Kilda

I don't believe Bruce can be so easily replaced so better to keep Bruce, I think he still has some improvement left.
I like Members & Bruchie up forward,
I believe they are both improving with maturity.

Enjoying hearing Gilbert McAdam on SEN

From watching Gilbee tear up the wings at Waverley Park to his 2nd. life as a host on the Marngarook Footy show/ NITV
I'm rapt to hear him speaking about both his culture & his football.

Enjoyed Long's work against Dees.

Ben moves very well & he showed he can deliver between the big sticks. I'm with oldie60 on keeping Ben on board. :D I think Long just needs to be given a role but allow him to use some of his own instinct. Game time is paramount but maybe challenge him quarter by quarter rather than complicating...

What's happening with Webster ?

Paton ran the 6th fastest 20m, had the 3rd highest standing jump and the 2nd highest running jump at the combine. Fast forward to 0:57. Paton plays on to himself with his right then casually bombs it off his non-preferred. I can't remember ever seeing anyone do that. I would argue that Paton is the ...

Remembering Plugger

No key forward in 100 years has been able to outmark 4 defenders consistently. [/quote]You obviously didn't see Plugger! "I hear Port Adelaide take their own food to China well done Port Adelaide."

If true St.Kilda could take a leaf out of the Port's considered approach.
Banking a mil is where St.Kilda is at because the likes of St.Kilda & Port need the $$ to level out the playing field.
