Didn't he play also for one of the Fremantle teams in the WAFL......over 100 odd games? And I think he was a selector at the Eagles in their early years. He had been a part-time sports commentator on ABC radio & TV for many years. And was currently a state politican (Libs) at the time of his dea...

Yes Rog, so shocked to hear about his death this morning. He was a great compere of Western Saints Functions....really was able to ramp up the auction items to put extra $$$$$ in the Saints coffers. By all account he just returned from a holiday in Qld last night & had a heat attack this morning...

Isn't it amazing that a statue of such a scoundrel is still kept? Because there is a statue of him I'm sure , most people today would think he was a fine upstanding citizen worthy of our respect. Then again I supose the people of Brighton in those days revered him because his corruption got them the...

I really missed Matt's quirky, irreverent coverage of this years election campaign. It was dull & tedious without Matt highlighting in his cheeky manner the absurd & the ridiculous pomposity of some pollies,. The previous federal election when he followed Kim Beasley around the hustlings was...

Heard on ABC radio this morning that Danel Chick is supposedly in LA at present. Maybe one of the blondes picking Benny up at airport the other day was Chickies ex? And maybe Chickie and his ex will give Benny some boxing exhibitions as a form of training drill for his fitness whilst he's in rehab. ...

Lenny demonstrates leadership on the field....maybe not as eye catching as Roo in his play. Just watch Lenny (more evident in his year as sole captain) but also noticeable this year when he started to run into fitness and form. When the ball has gone further into play and he is not there in play he ...

Anyone notice how many drinks twiggy was pouring down :? Yes she sure was throwing them down. Notice she (along with many on show last night) is a gulper not a sipper. Some of the anti-Blake people in this thread, need to go back an watch the tape of last night's game. Poor management of Harves this year compared to last couple of years. He now spends 95-98 minutes on field this season...far too much game time for his body/age and role he plays...... especially with our chipolatta game plan where our players are often running backwards, sideways, inside out/outsid...
