Re: McCartin article - The Age
I watched the live stream of the Sandy V Dogs game. Thing that impressed me most is Paddy seems to have found that bit of confidence and is now 'clunking' some marks. Great with his hands in heavy traffic as well. Gave off some good sharp handballs. The point about Brucey's great form giving Paddy a...

Re: D-Mac signs on till 2017
been a long time reader on here but never posted much.
But I gotta say kids like D-Mac have got me pretty excited about the future.
This kid makes a cats head feel soft.
Stating to get a few kids with a bit of grunt on our list.
Skillfull & Tuff. Thats a bloody good combination

Re: Why not Hickey to full back?
You might get a few young tall 'utility' type players who are switched around in different positions from their junior to senior careers . But you dont get many 'Genuine' ruckmen playing anywhere other than the Ruck or Forward. Off the top of my head i cant think of a 'genuine' ruck becoming a decen...

Re: Kosi The Enigma
I love the big lump of a bloke and i get a little bored of people bagging him. But i gotta admit , if some of our younger blokes surpass him during the practice /nab cup games and he cant fit into our Round 1 team , then we are probably in a better position than last yr.

Re: Pitch for Mitch will continue- article
So far he's been 'just' a handy player for the West Coast Drug Lords ( well, for the few times he's actually got a game lately) that is.
Is the bloke as good as we are hoping he MIGHT be one day??????????????
Then again im sure the club knows alot more about his potential than i do.

Re: Kosi The Enigma
Always find it funny when people think a player is crap and he should quit. If your at a well paid job and doing stuff all, why would you want to quit. Some early draft pics go on to be champs, some are OK and some are shizenhausen. Dont blame Kosi , all hes doing is rocking up every week to get a g...

First game i ever took my then girlfriend (now wife) to was that game against the Bris Bears at VFL Park when there was that wild hail storm.
Her 2nd game was the Lights going out at Waverly.

2011 was kind of like 1998 all over again , Last season was kind of like 1999 all over again. Have a bad bad feeling 2013 is gonna be like 2000 ( Ouch )
But bring on 2016/17 , we will be freaking awesome by then ( maybe)

As for Luke Ball... Bally was around 20-25 on our list i.e. he was on the fringes of being dropped... we should have sucked it up and taken pick #30 that we were offered. Then we could have picked up one of these players who were still available... - dylan roberton (49) - trent denis-lane (55) Inst...

Whoever picks up garlett will be laughing for years to come. In 2020 after his second brownlow, people will be looking back to November 2012 wondering what drugs the collective football world were on (maybe Gary Pert knows) that led them to thinking 18 year old kid could not turn his so called beha...
