Re: The umpires tonight
Kane Cornes is an absolute flog. And his brother doing a rain dance and mouthing off to the maggots after a deliberate call when a power player stepped over the line, on purpose, I might add, is a f***wit. Take no notice. Sour grapes is all. I wish all the PA supporters who are baying for blood reg...

Re: What would I know
Massive chance tonight. I will be tuning into the idiot box with a couple of 6 packs and a big pack of Aldi Pretzels. Aldi Pretzels? No thanks. What's wrong with shopping in an Aussie store? I am currently munching on Parker's Pretzels. Bought them last night at Aldi!!! I can't stand brand s...

OK for the football club membership but What about reserved seats Not all money from reserved seats go to the club so do we get a refund for that or are we supporting the Managers of the stadium (AFL) with a donation to them. What about social club memberships. Do we get a refund for that, does all ...

"Kent"<edited by mods> really. immature comment. Denigrating of one of our players. He is a saints player and made AFL level. Deserves some respect

According to a report this morning, the tester/official does not say anything if he notices something is amiss during the taking of the sample but submits a report on what he had observed later on.

RIP Danny, A true legend and Sainter.
Went to Western Oval for his last game and the team won and gave him a great send off. Only time I went to that S..thole of a ground.
Condolences to all that knew him. Hope they strike a medal in his honour

Re: 2019 Finals Thread
Couldn’t tell the teams apart from row BB of the top deck. How hard would it be for Collingwood to have a proper clash jumper? Totally agree. I was confused on numerous occassions. I wonder how many turnovers were due to the confusing colours? You should have been around when North played collingwo...

Re: How long have you been a member for?
Won a junior membership in 1963, member definitely in 1978, possible a year before that. Used to go to the club dining room (they served meals back then) to hear the team read out. Stayed after the games for the presentations and dance. Drank (way too much ) at the Hartnell bar??? during the game. T...

I don't think a lot on here realise the work that Geary does each week. Gets the best small forward every week and by and large does a very good negating role When was the last time a classy small forward kicked a bagfull on Geary Geary leads by example, too bad a lot of others haven't got his appli...

Apparently at the presentation Lethlean offered Shiel a drink, "tea, water, anything you want Dylan, we've got it!" Anyway Dylan asked for a coke, but they didn't have any and all the staff had gone off on break, so Lethlean ducks off to 7-11 to grab some but got lost and couldn't find hi...

Re: James Gwilt - who found him?
Gwilt was picked up in the 2004 draft with our 4th round pick after a BOG in the Noble Park grand final that year. Wayne Hughes who was on the Noble selection board had moved into the chief recruiting role at Carlton in 2004 and apparently was going to draft Gwilt but we got in first. He was our 4th...

Re: a win like yesterday v. tanking
If you watch a win with your kids, it gives you another perspective on why every opportunity to win matters. It builds their emotional attachment to the club. I watched this one with my 11 y.o. streamed to my iPad in Hawaii. Not the same as being there but he was still pumping his fist in delight. ...

Re: Time to turn toxic
folks are saying that on Level 2, members were getting up and leaving at half time. Is that true? because on TV, the crowd noise was echoing and it seemed to be far less than 27k (official number) We sit on Lvl 2 and the bays around us (37/38/39) saw quite a number leave at half time and many more ...
