Re: Rhys Stanley for Pick #21

Great trade if we pull it off. We have enough ordinary big forwards, we can afford to lose one. He goes missing way too often and only kicked 18 goals all year which is pretty ordinary for a key forward. Lets not be fooled by the one great game he plays every 8 weeks where he looks like a world beat...

Re: Richmond inquires about Armo

Come back to the real world Count Choclula. No one is offering 28 year old Armo a 5 year $600k deal. He would be a second or third round at best.

Re: 2014 List Management - Draft & Trade Discussion

It just comes down to cash - he gets 4 years @ $600k and Melbourne will get pick 3.

Re: 2014 List Management - Draft & Trade Discussion

I think we need to wait and see if Melbourne trade out one of picks 2 or 3. If they don't we should trade with GWS as we would likely get McCartin at pick 4. Something like pick 1 and 21 for pick 4(McCartin), Jaksch and O'Rourke. Would seem to fit with the whole 3 picks in the top 20 model. I think ...

Re: 2014 List Management - Draft & Trade Discussion

Petracca sounds like the one to me. I think we need to draft the best player regardless of whether he's a forward or mid. McCartin and Wright don't seem like sure things where Petracca does. A midfield of Petracca, Steven, Billings, Dunstan, Acres, Armo etc looks like a beast in 3-4 years time. This...

Re: The Lazy Peanut's Saints Season Preview

FWIW - not my website, just enjoy the Saints articles.

Figured some others would too.

And the Peanut is clearly a Saints man anyway.

Jack Billings

Played golf today with a teacher from Scotch who has been involved in the footy program for 30 years. Said Jack Billings has the best skills of any player he has seen - just once touch, complete class and a booming left foot. Fully expects him to be a star. Also said he is a lovely kid and will be g...

The Lazy Peanut's Saints Season Preview

Folks,

Read with interest the Lazy Peanut websites Saints season preview. Hard to disagree with a lot that is said but lets hope he's wrong. He seems like a Saints fan too, talk about a pessimist.

Cheers

I think he is arguing no one is better - not necessarily he's the best. It's a good read regardless.
