Re: Is it over now?
I reckon without some sort of divine intervention (hey we're the saints after all!), we've run our race for this year. Looking at the upcoming draw for us, and based on our current form: Vs Melbourne: Win Vs Geelong: Loss Vs GWS: Win Vs Carlton: Win 3 wins, 1 loss. Now look at North: Vs Essendon: Wi...

Re: Tom Ledger
Oh the drama of it all… How do you have the faintest idea about his state of mind Con? Maybe he was made aware at the very beginning of the year that he probably wouldn't get a game this year with his lack of endurance? Maybe he is fine with that… who would know. I'm sure he would be smart enough t...

Re: Brisbane match day weather: Rain very likely
I reckon Wilkes will be the key here...out of the big 3 forwards I've seen play in the wet, he is the best of them.
Hope he kicks a bag!

Re: Pushing Ben back all night...
Was a great move. It covers a defiency in our backline in regards to height, he can take a good grab, and Kosi can cover the pinch hitting. I reckon most of his 9 marks were in the defensive 50. Will need him to do it again next week, chop off all the entries into Brown and Merrett. Wasn't he doing...

I was there tonight ............Kosi appeared to have frequent bouts of nausea/vomiting tonight (did anyone see that ..I thought I caught a glimse of it from Isle 40 Gr level ) Radio were suggesting food poisoning ?? Could that explain his malaise If thats the case then someone should get a decent ...

Re: Train Alert
Crap how the track works will affect those who come to watch the match from the Frankston, Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sandy lines...but rather then trying to find which train will be the next to take you to Southern Cross, why don't you just walk to Etihad? It's only a brisk 10-15 min walk to from Sou...

Milne for McEvoy
Start Schneider as the sub

Re: Tom Hickey
I wonder if they've got any tall defenders (ie 194-196cm) that isn't getting a chance? Reckon we're one tall defender short? If not from GC/GWS, maybe have to scout the state leagues for a 21-24 year old big bodied defender Heard Jackson Ferguson is tall (around the 194cm), but not really suited to ...

Re: Blake J.....1 Vote
I liked how he ran forward and kicked a goal...was on the wrong side for a right footer as well... Would love to see Blakey do more of that..he would be and all out weapon if he could bob up and kick a goal or 2 per match...having multiple big bodied goal kickers running forward (ie Roo/Kosi/Stanley...

Good luck mini! I can see him flourishing; gameplan is more fluid compared to Lyon, and as a leader of the club, he'll be looked apon to set an example.
Might be worth chucking him into my dreamteam...

Yep. Terrific. I must eat my words from previous weeks. Showed that he, Saady and Milera can all work together. Having 3 small dangerous forwards, all who are capable of kicking bags of goals per game could spell disaster for opposition teams in the future... A forward line of 3 talls: Roo, Kosi an...

Re: Changes for next week
Out Wilkes In Gwilt Maybe..... Z I'd be disappointed if Wilkes was dropped. Although he didn't have a good match tonight, we need that third tall in the forward line while Stanley is playing in the ruck. To be honest, none of the talls really dominated. Roo (off the top of my head) kick 1 goal 3. W...

Re: New Boys
I did like the Sipposs hit on Franklin in the last qtr. Lance had played a few tricks, got past two Saints and was ready to do a trademark run down the MCC wing. Sipposs had to grit his teeth and say "Thou shalt not pass" and put his body on the line. BANG! Well done Hammer, er...Sippa. I...

Wont be blake has done his knee, poor bloke, probably if its ACL career over. He came back on.....after they removed his leg.... Re: Sainter K and Geary
It's a big call to write off Sainter K predictions so early in the season...hell we've just finished round 1. I do agree that while Geary has heart, speed and endeavour, he lacks the foot skills to round out his game. I often wonder if their is a kicking coach at St Kilda, especially since the same ...
