Carlilsle,Membrey, Ross and Gresham are the only positives from the season. Still nothing up forward with any consistency, weak midfield and stretched backline. Oh,and Longer is nowhere near as good as Hickey.

OK seems I migt be wrong, but Dunstall would never have kicked 100 goals in our side. Lockett only did it because he was a dominaing monster.

Are our mid-field players skilled enought to deliver the ball to our key forwards? In my opinion this has been our weak point for years and has not improved despite the courge or some individuals (jones, stevens, gram etc), their disposal is not great and this certaonly puts pressure on the forward ...

I hate to say it but the the ranga 'Brereton' has it down pat whten he says that the most important kick in football is the 'second last' kick berore a score. This means the mid-field deliviery has to be good. We have a great mid-field for gettng the ball; but most of them can't kick over a jam tin....

Stephen Milne is and will go down in history as one of the best Forward Pocket players in the history of football.
