Re: Squad vs Essendon
As much as I'd like to see Pierce again I think it's important to play Bruce back into form. With Membrey there and effective I believe Bruce lost his role a little bit. I think it's really important to stick with our forward structure.

The red, almost white and black
Disappointed that our guernsey's and shorts have had the red run into the white in the wash. Unacceptable that we would not then revert to brand new jumpers for the game. Other than that what a fantastic effort by the Saints!

I also loves his run past Geary a second before Geary was knocked out. Had Geary had passed it to Blacers we were off and away.

I'm sure that with the limited 90 rotations that he'll rotate through the middle switching in and out with Sinclair or Billings potentially (acknowledging that Minch is more inside than Billings).

Re: Ask Alan and Matt- twitter chat - 13 Jan
I don't have Twitter - but would love it if someone could ask whether we have thought about approaching Southamoton FC (aka the Saints) in the English Premier League to be a sister club. They're a bayside club, share our theme song and home colours are red and white striped top with black shorts (th...

Re: Club AGM- Mon 21st Dec
We don't need more machines, we just need a greater utilisation of them. That will come with a new club house. Social area and hopefully some great RSL type club food being prepared. Remember being blown away by some of the Rugby League social clubs even 20 years ago. We can do so much more in this ...

Re: Carlisle "scandal"
He has surely hit rock bottom. I agree with other posters that this is a blessing in disguise. Imagine if the video didn't come out for another 4 months. Not only would the impact on the St Kilda FC be greater but Carlisle would not have been read the riot act before the pre-season. I hope and expec...

I like Oliver from the clips I've seen posted on BigFooty. He really just makes things happen. With AFL training he'll bulk up and reduce his skin folds. Physically he will only get better, faster, stronger etc.

Re: Franklin and Tippett
I think Gilbo could do it and your idea isn't without merit. I disagree though, our structures and particularly our forward structure worked really well last week. For the first time in 5 or 6 weeks we were able to kick a score. Partly due to moving of Roo and Gilbo. I think Gilbos run and carry thr...

Creating a cauldron atmosphere at St Kilda Games
I live in London and watch all games via AFL Live. I thought the crowd atmosphere from Saints fans was the best I've noticed in a long time. I think if we could land the crowd rendition of When the Saints go Marching in, we may just be able to create a cauldron vibe late in September in the next few...

Re: ACRES THE SUB!
Im disappointed with this; however, I thought that in the 2nd or 3rd last week that he didnt attack the ball as hard as he could / should have. I thought it was a real turning point in the game. It was near the centre circle and the ball was bouncing. He hit it at 3/4 pace and a hawk cleared it and ...

I really hope he is a super star as he has all of the leadership qualities to develop into our next Captain. I think the omen of having the gap in the front teeth may also help with our 2nd flag

Re: Membership Tally 2015
what's positive is that the club is talking about it & setting a target. We've had a fantastic 12 months in front of the media and that is clearly reflected in membership numbers when compared to the same time last year. A massive part of the Road to 2020 Strategy was growing the membership base...
