Re: Roo Bags Seaford
Seaford itself is not geographically challenged. Roo is challenged for living a long way from work. Seaford is 35 minutes on the freeway from the cbd if you choose to live in the cbd and play for the bayside footy team. Seaford has the best beach in Melbourne and enough amenities and cafes. Plus Fra...

Re: Upgrades at Moorabbin.
Moorabbin and Frankston for family days, children's clinics etc... Frankston would be different because it would be a one stop shop ground - embraces peninsula market, is iconic bayside, in a central activities area, is a VFL ground, training facility and has a stadium and parking and PT to cater fo...

Re: Upgrades at Moorabbin.
If we had of moved to Frankston Oval like we should have we would have an iconic ground for training, VFL and preseason. Instead we are using three grounds! Long term goal should be a move to Frankston Oval.

Re: No Sandy trains again!!
Trains to Frankston and Sandringham leave Flinders only. Need to make way to Flinders for a train, but yes both St Kilda lines are useless if you're at Etihad. Takes a good half hour each way longer than if the games were at the MCG

Brilliant player. Thought he was going to cry after the game tonight and I wouldn't have blamed him. Super effort despite constantly being get let down by passengers like Kozi.

Re: 27,488 members as of 12/03/2013?
If we actually embraced the expansion opportunities to develop support in Tassie back when, or commit to the Frankston/peninsula area and get over Moorabbin we would be in a different space. I think it has a lot to do with ego or the perceived ego of the club. The Tasmanians saw our ego, and the way...

Probably would have been close to 90,000 if it was at Moorabbin.saintspremiers wrote:A crowd of around 1,500 is crap.
Had it been at Moorabbin same time/day you'd easily double that figure.

Lots of parking at the foreshore and along Nepean Hwy (ticket required though). If that's full, yep park at oval or in multistory in the centre of town.

Re: Linen Houes centre from above
Be interesting to see if we put a St Kilda advertising banner on the freeway wall to welcome visitors to the peninsula and capitalise/highlight us as the bayside/peninsula club. Similar to Hawks have on Monash. Fwy travel to Seaford from CBD is 40 mins max at the moment. The new fwy starts at Seafor...

Re: Dees vs Saints Casey Fields NAB Cup 9 March
Couldn't fault the grounds down there...but it's nearly as far as Seaford! Nearly as far from what? God im tired of numbskull conservatives like you that add piss weak negativity at any chance and complain about a 40 minute drive from the Bourke Street mall. Seaford is at the beach, closer to the M...

Re: Saints vs Swans in NZ
Don't buy the spin, it's Tassie all over again. That deal arguably cost us a top 2 spot in 2004 and top 4 in 2006 yet we make the same mistake 6 years down the track. So much for 'Footy First' Hawthorn are about to win their 2nd flag whilst playing home games in Tassie, not sure if it should be use...

Dawson has been nothing but a dud at Freo or at the Saints. He is better gone in my opinion. Every game the ABC and SEN commentators sum the game up in disbelief that he keeps getting games.

Temper Trap are good. Try triple J, although I think Nova have probably picked them up now too. Their latest album was a year or two ago so not played regularly at the moment.

It's about time people stopped bagging out Frankston on this forum. It's insulting to people that enjoy living there and is a joke that expired five years ago. Visit the place to discover it is actually a top spotsaintspremiers wrote:Frangga at night time should keep the numbers down a bit

What about calling Ling an ugly b'std? Or calling Milne a rapist. What about what was said to Roo all last year? Saints need to stand up for ourselves. This is a disgrace. Meanwhile Swan and his relatively insignificant night out on the drugs is forgotten?

I have never been so furious after a footy game in my life. Saints must lodge a formal complaint and the AFL needs to provide answers, and compensation on financial losses for missing the finals

Re: Train Alert (Frankston line)
They shut all the roads coming back into melbourne on a sunday arvo when there was a marathon or something last time I went down the peninsula. Why do they want to trap people in Frangers? That said I live in Caulfield North and could usually walk home before getting a train after the footy if you ...

Re: No Fat Chicks - Saints in the papers again
The only evidence that this actually happened is that someone called 3aw? Just as well they don't listen to SEN. Yeah, it's easy to make up a story against the Saints these days but anyone that respects 3AW should be sent to Venus to live on a planet with more carbon than ours. Still no apology or ...
