Re: Maybe Burkie is onto something......

Indeed, Burkey is on to something. If that forms the basis of the Club's growth strategy going forward, I'm happy.

Re: KB's rant againts the Saints.

In return for the three we have picked up Hickey, Delaney, Dunstan, Acres and Savage. I rest my case. An idiotic statement by KB, considering the Richmond list is as good as it is going to get and probably further away from a Premiership window than we are.

Re: Scott Watters interview on footy show tonight

So he would not have traded Goddard, McEvoy & Dal, meaning we would not have recruited Hickey, Wright, Dunstan, Acres and Delaney. Thank god we sacked him.

Re: Kosi on Open Mike

I will never forget those 4 or 5 games in 2005, absolutely sensational, in fact they were Lockettesque for sheer dominance. At the time he should have got the Captaincy. What happened after that, who knows, was it the skull injury? I personally think he was played out of position under Lyon, as I be...

Re: McEvoy Subbed Out of Today's Game

Re: McEvoy Subbed Out of Today's Game

Sorry, but typical. He got smashed at centre bounces which is somewhat typical. Well done to Chris Pelchen for his shrewdness and guts. History we'll see us as having reamed Hawthorn on this deal. We took Ben Evoy with 7 in the 2007 draft. Always an act of insanity to invest such a high pick in a ru...

Re: September bound?

Far from impossible, but do we want to from a development point of view? However, at the risk of been called mad or a hopeless optimist, I am starting to think that if all things fall in place our veterans just may get another sneaky crack. Yes, I am saying that despite most of us having accepted th...

Good I'm delighted, hope we can dispense with this stupid initiative and remaining legacy of the previous Board's desperate stupidity. Regional Victoria would be a better option.

Re: St Kilda going home !!

Well I declare unashamedly that I have a boner. Not as dreamlike as going back to Moorabbin, but I'll take the Junction. A suburban ground! I love it. Here's an early request, leave standing room for a couple of thousand on the wing and call it the new Animal Cage.

Re: $800,000 for Frawley

IMO Frawley has already made up his mind which club he is going to. His manager is effectively telling other clubs thanks but no thanks. He'll probably sign for around 200k under that to his preferred club....Hawthorn or Freo my bet at around 4 x 550-600k. Unrestricted free agent so Melbourne canno...

Re: Hickey

Hickey did well tonight and shows justification in the early pick. Lee is the dud pick, been told for those around back then that he is a worse player than Jodi Arnol who was also an early pick. Apparently Lee was woeful for Sandy today. What on earth did they see in this guy to trade such an early...

Typical nasty comments? He moved around the ground well, linked well.... He was out pointed in marking contests twice against Mids?
