Can anyone tell me if this champion from the late 50s is still living?? I saw a notice in The Canberra Times that a Brian Gleeson, aged 84, passed away on New Years Eve, and the service was to be at Mordialloc. Don't know if it is the same person.

Nope, I think he has been VERY average for a couple of years now. I remember the first time I saw him play, on the day of the '97 GF at the G, but I can't remember which team he was playing for.

Dunno, but one thing's for sure, I'll be there!!!!! I have now seen every losing GF since 1965, and missed being there in '66!!!!!!!
