Sorry but i just dont agree with you, they are professional athletes Try telling that to Kosi's hamstring. You're not trying to say the twinge in Kosi's hammy vindicates your OP? It partly does. If we take the view that we will rest injury prone players if we keep winning and have a full lis...

I simply hated that fact that, these guys have just worked their butts off to get to an 80+ point lead, are undefeated so far this season, sitting top of the ladder with a mammoth percentage, yet there were many "supporters" (I use that term very loosely) in the crowd who thought they had...

It would be rd 5 next week, they are still fresh in the season, if you want to give a player a rest you do that rd 15 onwards Wrong!!!! This is called rotating your players whic serves 2 purposes. It gives players a rest/freshens them up and it also builds depth. If we keep winning evey week I woul...

Surely you're taking the p1ss I'm not taking the p1ss, I'm serious. Probably only one player a week, providing we keep winning. eg. say we beat Freo this week. Give Kingy a week off. He has had a lot of injuries the last few years and usually breaks down after 5 or 6 games in a row. Let him have a ...

If we win this week and we have no injuries again.........

Should we should start thinking about giving a couple of players the week off? For example, give King a rest, (rest meaning no football this weekend), and promote McEvoy. Give Baker a rest and bring in X. Clarke.

Thoughts?

If we keep winning, only bring him in when we have an injury. That way he will be hungry and desperate. This should also apply to Hudgton and Goose......and anyone else for that matter.

Grant Thomas turned St kilda football club into a professional organization. He would have delivered a premiership if it wasn't for the injury curse. Especially in 2005 when we had 7 players missing in the prelim and Sydney had made just 1 forced change in the last 10 weeks of that season.

Gold Coast entry into AFL in 2011 is great news for Saints!!

This is going to cause a big uproar I'm sure, but it is only my opinion.

By then Riewoldt will be 28 and St kilda will not be a serious contender. If the Gold Coast were willing to give 2 top 10 picks, eg. picks 3 and 9, we should take it.

Re: leave Gwilt alone

i am sick and tired reading posts about Gwilt. yes he does make mistakes but so does anyone. first quarter Goddards two mistakes cost us goals. The side lifted last year when he come in and helped out our forwards out with his long kicking. As for Geary he tough at the ball and only improve so leav...

For what it's worth, these are my observations of Zac...... Tall and strong. Very quick off the mark. Very agile for someone who is 195cm. Huge leap. Hungry to establish himself after being delisted by Hawthorn. Still young. A player with all the above attributes would normally cost a pretty decent ...

Re: Riewoldt to CHB

I know that our venerated skipper came into the game against the Swans lacking match fitness and so I certainly don't condemn him for his feeble contribution on Saturday night. What does concern me though, and this is an aspect of his game that has plagued him for all of his career, is that he cont...
