Only thing that is clear is that Ball is so far behind the others, that nothing short of a Brownlow would bridge the gap. You are kidding, right? A fit and uninjured Luke Ball would MORE than match Judd and Hodge! Based on what? Maybe you should go back and watch some of his games and the impact he...

I think it is a more a matter of how obvious you make it. Mind you Judd and Cousins flat out stating their preferences I suppose is fairly obvious! Maybe the higher your profile and the more important the player, the more you get away with.

You have summed it up perfectly! The only reason I would want to see the Hawks win is for Shane Crawford. Other than that, the thought of either team winning makes me want to puke!!!! If Geeling won, it would suck for reasons mentioned previously in this thread and countless others! If Hawthorn was ...

Judd was out of contract with WCE at the end of 2007. He was always going to Carlton. It was done through a trade arrangment because, otherwise, he would have been at the mercy of the draft. WCE could have held firm, and not done a deal with Carlton but then Judd would have been in the draft and WC...

Oh very exciting stuff! :D So I'm a little unclear on this, how can he dictate where he's going? Please explain :? How did Judd do it? judd did not do it. blues were not judd's first choice. they had to use a draft pick on him. judd wanted to go to pies. Not according to what I heard. Judd's first,...

Do supporters want him more, because Collingwood might get him? Or because he's a required player? You have to wonder sometimes. I recall the jokes, abuse and cruelty on this forum when he fell from grace. I agree with you 100% I remember that, after he went off injured in the final against ...

a bit silly of him announcing his "preferred club" now when he wasn't been cleared by the AFL medico's yet. I believe he has met with both the AFL Players Association and the AFL hierarchy this week. Apparently it took him as long as it did to get back into a VFL side due to the AFL dragg...

Though it's draft tampering (I think), I still believe players speak to other clubs and do mention they don't wan't to play for them. I don't see why a club would pick a player just because they "Think", they might have a chance of getting them to change their tune. Many clubs will speak ...

Two things stood out the this trite.. 1) Lyon the best thing to happen to the Saints in 50 years?? 2) Harvey holding the club back for 18 months?? The way I see it Harvey's been the best thing that happened to the club in many a year, Lyon still yet to prove himself.. Yeah we finished 4th this seas...

Your not serious are you? I nearly fell off my chair when I read the title of this thread!!! You would be better off getting Hamil back into our side. They have similar problems (i.e. degenerative knee).

Don't be silly!

We also need to throw in a box of Burger Rings!

That will surely seal the deal

I don't believe Collingwood are anywhere near a flag in the next 2-3 years at least. Sure they will make the finals, but they won't make the Grand Final. We are a better chance and with the addition of Cousins alongside players such as Ball, Hayes, NDS, etc, the sky is the limit! A better chance ba...

i must admit that i dont fully understand how the PSD works. do we get a pick before the filth in a world where picks aren't traded? As he was delisted and has no club to answer to, he pretty much gets the say as to where he goes. Hopefully Gardiner and Gehrig get into his ear. I think he would do ...

Not got the forward skills. Pook kick, doubt he would be good on a lead and not really a good contested amrk. Is a straight ahead footballer who is a backman and will play there if fit enough otherwise could be in trouble. I said he was a poor kick for goal not he cant kick and I stand by it. Not a...

If they keep Didak, they won't take on Cousins. According to Eddie, that is what they are planning (i.e. Pies want them both). Anyway, who says Cousins wants to go to Collingwood? Cousins, according to the Age this morning. Let me guess, Caro wrote the article? We all know how accurate and concise ...

We haven't since 1997. Even in 2004 & 2005 we had little depth. I do believe it is improving though in the last couple of seasons.

NDS does not need to be traded, he just needs a clip around the ears or a swift kick to the 'you-know-where' to get him back on track. You don't trade a player the quality of NDS without something substantial in return. NDS has got the sh*ts over something and until he gets over it or it is addresse...

With Burns retiring from the Pies, Cousins would be a perfect replacement for him...I reckon we'll miss out. If they keep Didak, they won't take on Cousins. They have enough problems down at Collingwood in regard to off field issues and with Burns going, they have no real stand out leaders who woul...

Maybe if we get enough interest from Saintsational members (and enough funds) we can sponsor more than the 2 this year..??

Would be great to see all the players sponsored. It was rather sad looking at the list to see some of the players had no sponsors. :(
