I agree with the motto and the op.
Everyday I go for a walk wearing my Saints cap.
Cop the usual crap comments, you're game wearing that, can't you find a decent team to follow, etc. etc.
Makes me more determined to wear it,
Stuff them.

Re: An absolute JOKE!!!
If my memory serves me correctly we beat a full strength Bombers last year by over 100 points.
The game today was pathetic considering the standard of the opposition.
Found it extremely hard to watch.

Re: April 17, 1993 @ Vic Park - Who was there?
I was there, along with my wife, and at the time, three very young children. We had travelled the best part of 600kms to be there and it was our one and only time at Victoria Park. I remember that trying to find a park was diabolical but we eventually found a place down a side street relatively clos...

Re: Poll - who do you think should coach next year?
A bit out of left field fellow Saintsationalists but I believe I am the man who should coach the Saints. Reasons. Commitment -Passionate Saints supporter and member for over thirty years. Financial aspect- What was Scotty being paid??? $500,000...bugger it, I'll do it for $200,000 and only a one yea...

I saw a St Kilda side.
I saw a St Kilda side that could have rolled over at half time...they didn't. I saw a St Kilda side without a recognised ruckman take on the biggest and best rucking combination in the Afl winning the clearances in the second half. I saw a St Kilda side coming off a six day break and facing the toug...

My wife and I live in the country 600ks from Melbourne and we each buy an eleven game membership every year,we also purchase eleven game memberships for our son and daughter. As much as we would like to be social club members as well, it is hard to justify the extra expense as we only get to see two...

Love your work Big Red, I understand your passion. I don't see too many games live...maybe 50 in the time that you have seen 700. I live in an area of around 50,000 people,600k's from Melbourne and I reckon i know all of the Saints supporters by their first name....unfortunately the Pies,Blues,Dons ...

Grand Finals tickets will always be an issue that will be difficult to resolve. Many people live a long way from Melbourne, either in the country or interstate and cannot justify the Social Club membership when most are lucky to see one or two games a year. However, many of us still pay for a full c...

I remember my Dad in 1966. We listened to the 1966 Grand Final on the radio and when the final siren went he had his head in his hands and was sobbing his eyes out. I couldn't understand it and i must admit i felt embarrassed, here was a 55 year old man who had fought overseas during WW2 crying over...

What an interesting place.
What an interesting place. I love this site and enjoy reading the insights and opinions of Fellow Sainters, particularly the Sainters that are close to the action. But the site become a game of oneupsmanship (probably not a word] ..rather than reasoned argument and debate. So many "Sainters&quo...

I have been reading this Forum for a long time but have not posted (due to very slow and poor typing skills) I would extremely be disappointed if Bigmart has decided not to post again as I believe he provides the best analysis of onfield football matters of anyone on this Forum. He probably has been...
