Re: Cloke and Dawes

Blake was on Dawes (well Dawes was on Blake taking species). Think Fisher spent some time on Cloke. Umps gave him one goal when Fisher had out marked him. Another time both Fisher and Gilbert were on him but he out marked them both thanks to a nice kick from the midfield out to his advantedge. At th...

Re: NAB Challenge R4 Magpies v Saints GAME THREAD

Just out of curiosity - where was Sipposs played yesterday? Considering he was going to be the 3rd forward. Seemed to get his touches around the wing, half forward. Took a nice contested mark infront of us on the wing that the umps refused to pay. Even the pie supporters were laughing. Was forward ...

So, if we want to keep Tommy it's going to come down to letting someone like Ray go to free up some cash? That's going to be a tough call.

Just wondering, how often do new coaches keep the old assistant coaches? Harves might not be in a good spot out of all this.

His form reminds me a lot of 2005. I remember being pretty disappointed in a lot of his efforts that year. Seemed to have this beaten attitude about him. Had some bad injuries in 2005 though, don't know if that's an excuse this time round?

Dal can still be a matchwinner, that's why the opposition tag him so heavily. He has that match winning knack for creativity at times. I think under Ross he lost some of that spark though. It might also be an age thing. We really need a young matchwinner to step up, take some risks and add some enth...

How about some credit for the opposition. No wonder Scott took the Roos over the Tigers. You cannot expect any of our players with possibly the exception of Rooey to be fantastic every week. Dal at his best is simply worth it to carry him at his worst. Exactly. Has anyone been watching Dal in the c...

Yeah Dal had a bad day. It just proves though that we need him playing well and delivering the ball to our forwards to win. Hopefully the coaches can get him right for the finals. He's a weapon and we need to find ways of getting the best out if him.

Centre bounces today?

Seemed to me the thing that kept stopping us getting back in to the match earlier than the last was us getting smashed in the centre clearances. It was painful watching it from the stands. Can anyone who was watching on TV explain what happened, if Essendon came with a plan there? Seemed like the ba...

I was at the match and wasn't disappointed with Dal's effort. He looked like he wanted to get involved and do all the right things, but didn't have the confidence in himself to back it up. Seemed lost out there a lot of the time. Sad to see. And as for Dal cleaning the mud from his hand, he got it k...
