Could also consider that they are holding off so the big CEO's can get the added bonuses to their pay packet.

Re: I need help

Hickey does more around the ground. Longer's strength is his ruckwork and lost today. We shouldn't just gift games to Longer. Let him earn it.

Re: Saad - was it all PR?

I agree whether its the national draft or the rookie draft, we should be ruthless when it comes to our future. Even though I think Schneider has been great for us it seems strange to put him on a rookie list instead of paying him as a development coach. It's one less player we can develop for to bui...

Good changes. The INs have more upside than the guys who went out, bar McCartin.

Re: Don't give up on ...

Why does he need to be a forward? Can we teach him to be a defender? At least that way he has to show responsibility to work for the team rather relying on others to chase etc. Has the right attributes and the opposition forwards could help him build a tank. Brent Guerra started out as a forward and...

Doesn't help the fact we go to Wellington as the reigning wooden spooners and no superstars to get excited about.

Delaney

What does this player offer to be ahead of Hugh Goddard who plays a similar position? Whenever I watch him he just seems lost and slow to react. Late in the last quarter he had a paddock to run forward to and just hand balled it sideways to virtually a 1 on 1 situation. He needs to evolve a attackin...

Hypothetically, if Riewoldt is a late withdrawal, do we go with either Curren / Templeton or do we play Paddy McCartin?

Minchington for Curren? Similar players, but Darren seems to have a better scoring ability than Thomas does.

The Stanley Trade has effectively made Bruce go from the defence to a full forward as well as requiring a CHB for 10 years in Hugh Goddard

Re: Changes for next week

Need one more tall. When Bruce went in the ruck we had no options once riewoldt drifted to the wing. So I would bring in the second ruckman. billings and hickey for saad and Templeton .

Good read.
Siposs, Simpkin & Markworth would be in the gun this year. I feel like Bruce can make a good contribution this year, so he is one to watch for me.

This could be like the St.Kilda v Essendon Top ups match, but we are Essendon this time.

I can't believe both teams earn roughly the same in wages.

Our forwards will learn a lot from Hawthorn's defense.

TEN 1% per centers from Goddard, 6 more than any other teammate. Good effort. Shenton, Wright and Saunders.. Have a lot in common. Have a crack, but their kicking skills are not even vfl standard. Thought all our forwards did a good job. All putting a hand up for round 1. Acres was slow in game sens...
