In the last few weeks our bottom six and our top six haven't had that much of a gap between them, however tonight it seemed more like last year where our bottom six and top six seemed miles apart (and whats worse is that players in our bottom six, namely gram, would usually be in our best). Yes, we...

Its funny how much a week can change things. I went into the game tonight thinking that if we played Geelong this week with our current game plan that we could have won (maybe not by much, but we would have given it a fair crack). 6 hours later and I'm not sure. Then again, as has been mentioned, Ri...

Gwilt took a few marks and wasn't bad. Milne , Gram, Goddard even Gilbert all played their worst game of the season. But we won. Though Milne lacked substance on the scoreboard and probably he did play his worst game for the year, he actually pushed up the ground well and found that ball that way- ...

Re: Goose or Gwilt?
Same old debate but after the way Gwilt performed tonight I think Goose should definately come in. People will no doubt defend Gwilt's performance tonight (as they did last week), but he was definately very average and one of our worst. He made costly mistakes, seemed to get out-marked on every 1 o...

Is he back in the side or back in the VFL since that is what all the articles that have come out of today have suggested?suss wrote:It would be a monster call to bring him in without having a run with Sandy.channel 7 Max is back.
Even if he's named, I wouldn't trust it until I saw him run out to play.

Honestly Gwilt was average last night. 11 disposals and looked to be struggling. Had quite a few ineffective kicks and was outmarked during 1 on 1 contests constantly. I doubt Ross will change a side that came out 88 point victors, but if he wants to put Maguire in the side- than he should take Gwil...

And I don't agree on what RL has been doing for the entire year, I believe we should pick our best players and not dodge having to make a tough call on selection. And If hudghton was to come through the reserves, it should only be for fitness. This bloke shouldn't have to earn his spot. Lets not fo...
