May even play Sandy reserves? You are waste of space plugger66. How on earth do you come up with this crap? He will take his time and will play in the Sandy firsts, if he misses a game at all. Give it a rest you moron. Is this another one of your "inside tips"? The last one about Eddy havi...

OK RF I'll bite. I know you're being a bit mischevious, but the selections of Gilbo and Sam Fisher were purely John Beveridge's good work. GT told us as much recently, when he stated he was responsible for player trades and JB was responsible for drafting. I suspect you already know that and you're ...

Haven't seen a single bit of support for you on here. Nice one about Eddy in the other post. Was that a lie or a mistake? Or did you get it from one of your "reliable sources"? Unreliable, liar, big noter and a joke. All by-words for you plugger66. BTW, I didn't get a holiday in the other ...

Ah plugger 66, how I enjoy you making a fool of yourself. What does "glad to admit you are wrong", mean? I'm not trying to be clever, just trying to fathom the shallow depths of your reptilian brain. Do you mean I've admitted I was wrong? Did nothing of the sort if you care to read my post...

Sorry Plugger66. I know everything you say is right because you say so. Google Blacky or his missus, or if you are as close to him as you imply you are, just ask him. It was in the media. I know better than to take on the omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent plugger66. I remember the last time we ...

Heath Black wanted to go home? All the way to Oakleigh! You may recall he is a Victorian and went to Freo from the Oakleigh Chargers! His partner/wife is on record in the press as saying she had nothing to do with their return to WA and that she was made the scapegoat. She was happy to stay as she w...

Heath didn't want to go. He didn't want to pay under GT. Saw straight through the corporate GT claptrap and told him so. A straight shooter and man of god off the field was our Heath. Couldn't stand GT from the start. As for "Crapuano" (I hope you played at AFL level, because if you didn't...

Dean Cox indeed. Almost got him for Heath Black. Gardiner injured his knee about that time and WCE kept Cox as insurance. The rest, as they say, is history. GT has told this story a number of times when defending his so-called lack of respect for the ruckman's role in the game. We had a fair crack a...

Luke Penny's knee was that bad that he ended up having chemotherapy on it in an attempt to reduce the inflammation to bearable levels. I'm told that is a radical and desperate move. No one suspected how quickly his knee would deteriorate when he signed his last contract. The club thought it could be...

I think CJ has a decent future. He's no star, but he is dedicated, superbly fit, quick and most importantly, improving. A lot like Blake (except perhaps for the leg speed). It's also worth remembering that he is still "young" in terms of his AFL career. If he's going to serve the typical R...

Granted we were closer in both 2004/5 than last year. I am pinning my hopes on the fact that in 2006, we started to decline, whereas I think the graph moved in the right direction again last year. I reckon it'll keep going up.

Patience RF. I know saints supporters are probably the most patient of all, but I really think we can make a definitive call on RL, going on what happens this season. I think, plugger66, that our potentially elite players did play very well in 2004-5. At that time they also had experienced and excep...

I agree that without him we've looked ordinary. I shudder to think what would happen if he went down with a serious injury. However, I think others are developing well and RL has publicly challenged a number of players (dal, ball, kosi, bj etc..) to step up this year and become truly elite players i...

I acknowledge the fact that Roo was magnificent from rounds 13-22 RF and that he had a huge influence on the team. That is what champions do. But I can't agree that you can give one man the credit for getting the other 21 into a finals series. It's a team game and as great a player as Riewoldt is, h...

It's not meant as a personal criticism of RF. I acknowledge he is right to ask for the facts. The fact is if we have no system, coherence, consistency etc., how on earth did we finish 4th in 2008? As for RL, he gets plenty of scrutiny, on this site, in the media and from within the club. I'm sure no...

Nice work Richter! What you've stated is absolutely correct and pretty much represents the view of the mind and consciousness by science and philosophy today. I was trying to put the physiologists point of view, which BTW I think is incomplete. I'd also argue more along the lines of what you've prop...

Cheers. So that's his real passion? That makes sense. The lighter you are the faster you go I guess. He's obviously been very dedicated to slim down and get fit for a demanding sport like that. Mr X from the west, a physiologist does have a great deal of knowledge about the human mind and it's workings. It does depend however, on which branch of science you regard as being "right". Physiologists are basically reductionists. They reduce function down to its barest bits. In other w...

Schneider is being handled very conservatively because of his history of soft tissue injuries. He's had calf, hamstring and quadriceps problems in the past 12 months. I think it's a sign that Dave Misson's regimes are highly individualised and designed to get the players "cherry ripe" for ...
