How about Rd 14 1978 - Arden St against the Roos coached by Barassi. Robert Elliott shoots for goal after the siren and with thousands of spectators on the ground whilst he coming in for his shot - the ball is touched by just about everyone on the ground before it crosses the line - however, the go...

yup...its because the Scum, aka Collingwood, want the second half of the split round to themselves. As it stands they play Sydney in Sydney and up until a couple of years ago, its was a split round of 7 games one week and 1 game the next...guess who played in the 1 game!!? Not that I'm a bitter twi...

Can't understand why they don't split the round 4-4. Any arguments about not being able to structure the next round are surely obsolete now given the fact that the draw is all over the place this year anyway. yup...its because the Scum, aka Collingwood, want the second half of the split round to th...

Re: What about MILNE?

Where is a mark deemed to be taken...?
Ok, here's a question for all budding (closet) umpires. Can someone tell me when a player jumps in the air for a mark, is the mark itself deemed to be 1) the point where the player jumped from, 2) the point in the air where he actually took control 3) where he lands after taking full control? I've j...

Whilst Raph is in the team, playing forward or back, we will go nowhere. When he was originally signed to the team I was over the moon. Then after taking a mark I saw his very first kick in AFL footy; 35m out straight in front of goal...which he preceeded to kick into the opposition player on the ma...
