Re: Delistings

Allison seems a certainty to go. Crouch is finished. Ross, Bonner and Paton would be very nervous. Not sure Hall showed enough at Sandringham to stay on. Webster, Membrey and Jones have all shown enough to get another year. Hotton, Van Es, Keeler, McLennan and Heath should all stay on, but wouldn't...

[ Complete waste of space as far as I'm concerned and should be cut when his contract expires. ) Far out Moods, you don't mind sticking it to players on a relatively personal level. If you wouldn't say it in the clubrooms after a game, you shouldn't be typing it on social media. It's weak as !!........

Re: Injury update

".....an average performer like Paton and Hayes or McKenzie" a bit harsh given the fact that, apart from injury, at least 2 out of the three would be PERMANENT members of our best 22, in my opinion!!!!

Jarrod Brander 195 cm utility, pick no.13 in 2017 national drafthas been let go by GWS after being delisted a year earlier by Eagles. He caught my attention a couple years ago when playing for Eagles against us when he was very damaging on the half back line and popped up on the HF line as well. I n...

Yep, Ive attended a few games and Ive been very impressed with the courage and intensity of the women's team. Anyone that pulls on a Saints jumper and plays their heart out will do me, I'll watch and support them. I watched Saturday's game and was super impressed with the team's tackling and quality...

Re: Paddy Ryder takes personal leave

We are just lucky to have the big bloke in our ranks. He is a champion man and champion footballer. I remember when he started at the Bombers, then coach Sheedy declared that one day Paddy would be the premier ruckman in the competition! I’m not even sure that Paddy was playing in the ruck in those ...

Yep, going back to early 2000’s and before that the mid 60’s, IMHO. But, I doubt we’ve ever been so well situated off the field as we are now, and that includes the Huggins, Drake era!!

It would be nice to see DH start to earn the $800k a season we pay him. Hasn’t done enough for even top 10 money since he walked in the door. Totally agree. They have done well with most of the player salaries but the Hannebery deal is a still looking bad and is way off the mark. I also think Billi...

Re: Changes Rnd 4

Clearances from lost hit outs are a misleading stat IMO. How many of them are good clearances? Well, there was one “ beautiful”double-handed hitout by Ryder to a Bulldog player who was well in the clear, which resulted in a Doggie goal. The Bulldog player took full advantage of it. You’re obviously...

Am I the only one that thought Ryder's stunning silver service to our mids during first 2 and 1/2 quarters, was deserving of at least a MENTION? A ruck clinic he put on with the ball down the throat of our mids which enabled us first use out of the centre!!! A priceless advantage but not one mention...

rusty maybe, but not as rusty as the dogs. we're doing alright. need to go on and win this. lonie and butler two little terriers up forward, butler a bit smarter. looks the goods. I didn’t think the dogs were rusty. Their mids and flankers were tossing the ball around quickly and accurately and hit...
