Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Well done Roma
Apparently, he was called, ‘The Prospect’ in 2017 according to a few BF posts. I think Holla is pretty good. Marshall, the name is Frankish and comes from the word horse, or mare, and is joined onto another word. He is pretty athletic but John Longmire is a horse too, so..
Great news I think.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

It’s a better nickname than his ruck buddy, old Bi-Lo.guitars4 wrote:Joffa has answered the question as per post below . A bit of a lame nick name but I really don't care about the name just very happy he has signed on for 3 years

Good news! Fingers crossed he can develop into the player he looks set on becoming.

Can't believe you're not excited about Hannas playing at Sandringham. Wow wee, boy oh boy there are some negative nellies on this sitesunsaint wrote: ↑Tue 11 Jun 2019 6:30pmtrue - hes the only player in a couple of years that I can get excited aboutSainternist wrote: ↑Tue 11 Jun 2019 5:30pm Good news! Anyhow, without being facetious or sarcastic, I've been genuinely excited about Jack Steele since 2017.
I'm also excited about watching our team later this year with both Max King and Jake Carlisle playing together and what it does for our structure. I'm excited at the prospect of Matt Parker, Ben Long and Jade Gresham all having more time in the middle, and...I'm looking forward to a fully fit Jack Bytel hopefully playing seniors in 2020
Congratulations to RoMa. I think he can blame the journo Rohan Connelly for the nickname or perhaps Bomber Thompson should take the blame. Bomber famously called him "RoCo" at all the after match press conferences (when Bomber took over from Hird for a year) and it seems that it stuck and now everyone with a first name in footy of Rohan or Rowan could be branded similarly

Don't worry. He's either telling some posters reading his post to 'shove it' for not believing his prior predictions or perhaps he's telling all opposition clubs to 'shove it'. Possibly a harsh ruling but as ted has stated on a number of occasions, he believes you have to accept the moderators ruling.guitars4 wrote: ↑Tue 11 Jun 2019 8:45pmWhat do you even mean by this statement? Re: Well done Roma
Since Billy has played 7 games for Sandy this year and only one for Saints when Marshall was injured that is not true.
Not good anting coming from some-one who all season has been calling for Marshall to be played forward and as a pinch ruck rather than as prime ruck where he has thrived with the responsibility.

Re: Well done Roma
I never argued that Rowan wasn’t our best... just that I don’t think he’s ready or able to play lone hand. Playing Marshall forward was never about Longer being better but rather the only way we could fit 2 rucks in the team and IMO it filled another structural problem: being a key forward short.Shaggy wrote: ↑Tue 11 Jun 2019 11:24pmSince Billy has played 7 games for Sandy this year and only one for Saints when Marshall was injured that is not true.

Argue whichever way you want but there have been a number of games this year where the opposition have ground him down and climbed all over him as the games gone on.
Not Rowan’s fault nor a bad reflection on him either however not good for him IMO.
Regarding anting... Pierce got first crack and Longer was injured. And Pierce and Marshall barely got a look in last year when Hickey and Longer were stinking it up all season.
When Marshall got his opportunity he cemented his spot... but don’t for one second think that he got that opportunity in preference to Longer.
No bit of history over the last few years is remotely indicative that if fit, Billy wouldn’t have gotten first crack.
Last year he got selected to play ahead of both even when he was injured. Don’t kid yourself.
I am not wrong on this point
