I choose to believe .....
That we renewed Richo's contract early do that he could tank this season and use it as a development year.
If this is not the case - we are in desperate trouble.

I think we have different definitions of "development"
Bit of an issue that we are minus a few 2018 draft picks too - some magic required there.

We will just 'borrow' some from next year - surely that wont be a superdraft!CarlD wrote:I think we have different definitions of "development"![]()

Any chance the number 1 pick nabs us a pick in the top 10 and back into the second round?? In a deep draft that could be a win!

might've kept our second and third round draft picks if that was the case.Sainter_Dad wrote:That we renewed Richo's contract early do that he could tank this season and use it as a development year.

it isn't - the club was delusional and thought we were ready.

We are certainly choosing to not develop young backmen this year.Sainter_Dad wrote:use it as a development year.
Brown-dog on track for another 22 is a real fillip for the club and will definitely put us in good stead for the future. Would hate for us to find a player that will help us move the ball from defence.
Hopefully we also just keep pumping games into Weller, his good form must be just around the corner. On track for a 4-5 goal season.
Armo being selected in front of Dunstan, Steele and Sinclair has been a masterstroke.
