Armitage takes out Freeman..
Landed on him in a tackle and Freeman limps off with a leg injury.
Freeman looks in pain.
Ankle?
Let's hope that it is only a sprain.

Didnt look that bad, guessing they're just being precautious. How his day is over.

Yes let's hope that it is just a sprain rather than ligament damage.

What exactly is ridiculous?elizabethr wrote:Ridiculous thread
That you do you not like facts? That Freeman got injured? That Armo rolled onto Freeman in the act of a tackle?
That is what happened.
And I am sure the fact that Freeman got injured is an incident that many supporters would be interested to know about.

Players are injured in collisions with teammates on a regular basis.
Why single this unfortunate incident out with a sensational headline.
Beggars belief.

Players get injured during warm-ups before a game (Robbie Tarrant of Norf today)
and players get injured at training quite often...yep, it's not badminton

Do you actually think that I was having a go at Armo? If so, it is comical on your part. Read my OP again. It was 100% accurate.
I just made a post on Freeman "live" knowing that many would be interested that Freeman had had unfortunately more bad luck in getting injured again in a way that he no control over.
Why make a post on it? Because the Saints DESPERATELY need more good players, and preferably very good ones, and many of us are hoping that Freeman may be one such player. As such many of us are vitally interested in his fortunes, and unfortunately misfortunes to.

Yes they do. Which is why I wrote the OP. Do facts offend you?WellardSaint wrote:

ST KILDA midfielder Nathan Freeman will miss at least two weeks with a right ankle injury he suffered in the VFL last Saturday against Geelong.
at the risk of upsetting the lovely elizabethr,
this isn't meant to bag Armo at all,
simply to highlight an unfortunate injury- collateral damage.
Contact sport- it happens

Re: Armitage takes out Freeman..
Bugga. Makes a debut this year unlikely.
I was hoping that we could slip him i fora couple dead rubber games if our season pans out that way.
That way he would not have had the hype of a debut game at the start of 2018.
