A very strong indicator about how well a team is travelling is how often they hit the scoreboard. If you rank the competition by scoring shots, it tends to give a better reflection of where teams are at than the what the ladder does, from a competitive point of view anyway (see Carlton, Richmond, Nth Melb for example). It reads well, but frustratingly for us when you add accuracy.

We don't have great kicking players in general so yeah that is what is going to happen. We probably need to have more shots than the oppo to win games.
