Don't know what to do with it, only an idea, any others?????

Yes, but what a number! I would retire it, as not many who've worn it have covered themselves in glory. Paul Callery is the only other half decent player who comes to mind. It's about the significance of the number as a part of club history. It's like giving the number 4 to Eli. Now I like Eli as a player and think he has plenty of potential. Whether he converts that potential into a great career, with us, or another club is still open to speculation. However, giving a rookie drafted player first crack at the most iconic number in the club's history is a bit hard to take seriously. Baldock, Breen, Lockett, Paul Morwood, Clinton Jones.........Alright, I'm tailing off a bit there towards the end, but I think McCartin should get it if Eli gets traded as has been reported. No pressure there, Paddy! As for 35, if it is given, I nominate the Gresh.

Apologies to David Grant. He was a decent 35 as well.

True. It's a bit like Tony Lockett was our best ever 37!

I'm happy for GWS' #35 to keep his number when he comes on board

You mean Aidan Corr? He's contracted until end of 2018 but was another top 20 pick. Must say I've never heard of him but he's played 36 games and is 194cm!
