If you hit targets and don't turn it over then you take the umpires out of it by a certain degree.

Maybe a few more Saint supporters would have helped.

Wait until the replay is up on AFL and then go to the last 1/4 and select Frees. There is a little F at the time period of each Free

I was thinking more than that - but was somewhat emotional ( not sure that is exactly the right word !!) when watching ( now living living in Sydney so its all Foxtel for me these days - so not sure the ring side perspective)

Thats the part that s*** me the most, the last 30 seconds.

Love Richo as coach, players have really bought in to his plan.
They pushed themselves untill the end, you could tell how bad they wanted to beat the undefeated team.
So very proud of them
Hope this drives them more with belief to take it to anyone they face this year.

Agree. Hickey matched him, I thought, but didn't have the support that Goldstein got

But Goldy is the best ruckman in the AFL... So for Hickey to compete with him and play ok himself was positive

Those who believe the game can travel beyond these shores are a) delusional and b) so riddled with hubris it's actually frightening.

The game's sole measure of success is the size of the broadcasting contract. And, if the FTA stations and Foggstel keep bleeding like they are, the game will be stuffed before the crooks in charge even realise it.
