If you want a signed copy, either
1. order online and mention in the "additional instructions" that you want a signed copy and who to make it out to (example)
2. fax, mail, or email in this order form
3. give us a call on (08) 9321 5755

We tried to get Lenny over to Perth for a signing but it didn't happen - so this is the next best thing, he'll sign a bunch of copies and send them over. If you already ordered a copy expect a call to ask if you want to wait a bit longer and get a signed one.

no need to be like that SP ... Boffins Books has been very very good to us here in the West and are doing this as a good gesture to our members so any profits they make should go to them as they dont have to do this for us ...

Boffins e-mailed me to see if I wanted mine signed. Which was great as I ordered mine the day Saintbrat gave us the heads up that Boffins were the first in Aus to advertise Lenny's tome.

Great bookshop Boffins, with incredible knowledgeable staff. You can go in there with half a title in your brain, or no title and no author's name at all, only having a smithering of an idea what a book is about...................... and bingo............... a staff member will eventually be able to trace it for you.

I can go into Boffins with some half remembered lines of a poem and no idea of the poet's name. Yep, they can mostly find an anthology that has the poem hidden away in it. Might take them sometimes a couple of weeks, but they never let me down.

I've never been able to find such service in the chain stores, eg Dymocks etc. They seem to employ just shop assistants or staff with very limited literary knowledge, who only seem to know about the latest releases and popular writers.

Well done Boffin's, keep your miniscule profits, you deserve them. Most of us bookies know it's hard for you competing against those impersonal chain stores and the internet

it will take a while Matrix ... the book comes out on the 1st so the man then has to sign them and then they get shipped to WA and then posted out .. ill think it will be at the very least a week away from release date ... but that said good things come to those who wait

couldnt agree with you more Loris ... the staff at boffins are obviously passionate about books and genuinley love their job of helping people find the book that is just for them .. you do pay a little more sometimes for the books there compaired to dymocks but your happy to pay that for the superior service you get and also the compleatly unique finds you get in store ... puls Barb from the store is a huge die hard Saints fan and member !!

I received an e-mail from Boffins yesterday advising me that the book had arrived in their store yesterday (25 September), but if I was happy to wait a couple of extra weeks they would get me a personalised copy.

ive been given two options from two posters

whinge at this place i might but theres some great people who will help you out when needed
trav offered to help and emailed me the form and bratty offered to help me as well
ill take bratty up on her offer as im too lazy to print out the form at work fill it in and get it scanned then email it back

i picked up harves book in great nick at a second hand store and flicked thru it to find it was bloody signed on the front page!
lenny should slot nicely in beside that on the shelf

i believe the books are out at big w for $28

Hi all, if anyone still wants a personalised copy please get your order in by 1pm today. Really should have included that in my initial post, my bad.

Ideal timeline: Lenny puts pen to paper tomorrow morning, books on a truck on Monday and at Boffins by Friday next week. We really hope they'll arrive by Friday but can't guarantee it.

Sorry for not replying sooner (I now understand how reply notifications work). Thanks for the kind words lenny, matrix, trav, and thanks to everyone else who ordered or passed on the message - one of our staff and big saints fan Barbara worked hard to arrange this so she'll be chuffed with the response.
