Broke his jaw last year. Broke his leg this year. Can't question his commitment. Hope he comes back and plays the next 50 games uninterrupted - he personifies that hardness at the contest we want all our young ones to bring.

An unfortunate accident. Broken legs are a very difficult injury to get right - past experience tells us so. I just hope that our medicos are very, very conservative on this, as Nathan will not be needed for Finals!

Getting the leg properly recovered first, is a must for his long term future - if necessary, stuff the rest of this year

Its only the fibula- the skinny non weight bearing bone. Not like Nathan Brown's which was the tibia. He'll be fine

You can start riding a bike in 2-3 weeks, so long as no complications. If you're going to break a bone in your leg, this is the one to do. No long term structural issues. Fitness base wont suffer too much which is the main thing.

Wrighty was the right person to contend on the replay. Gears probably shouldn't have hit the pack running backwards - brave but not smart.

Once Wrighty builds his body up he will be a frightening proposition for anyone around him. He plays hard. Imagine him at about 90 kegs coming at you, I would be running the other way. When he gets to Chapman size he will be a pretty scary competitor.

You can't (& shouldn't) try to change a players natural attack on the ball… freak accidents are going to happen.

The broken jaw was nothing to do with reckless abandon, just a dirty elbow raise.

Pretty unlucky this time around too.

McGuire broke both his tibia & fibula… then he had compartment syndrome. Wrights won't be anything like Goose's.

Firstly I was very disappointed for Nathan coping yet another break - hopefully will be back soon as he has become an integral part of the new look Saints. Hope he is up-beat as he has demonstrated he has plenty to offer the team. Now it's back to recovery and biding his time. Both breaks came when he looked like he could have been on a roll in terms of getting a regular gig in the team. I'm hoping Nathan is using up his bad luck early and will return with the footy gods looking after him.
