I think the day would be a resounding success for all if they fired dwarves out of cannons.

Re: Family day
Weller got #44.
If he and Monty get approached by 2 groupies, they need to set some firm ground rules.
And both men buy a glow stick (different colours) to avoid mistaken identity.
It pays to be prepared, is all I'm sayin'

Now Now, no talk of dwarves with the PC brigade around.
The favored term is now "Persons who are vertically prejudiced against by the National Basketball Association."

Re: Family day
You know without wanting to appear a wowser, the "dwarf firing incident" cost the club big time publicity-wise. I worked with someone who was born with this condition (dwarfism) and I saw just how cruel and mean the world could be in it's treatment of such folk. You know, some of the posts on here are in that same ilk. If my point of view makes me a member of the "PC BRIGADE" then guilty as charged. Wellard Saint's post about the "groupies" and Weller having no 44 isn't funny, in fact it shows how far away from the pace we are as a club if these attitudes are still being made a "joke" by some supporters...it's no joke to Stephen Milne now, and more pertinently his family. Jeez some folk are dumb!

Re: Family day
SP, it's not JUST a matter of "membership sales". I won't let it (the "Dwarf incident") stop me from renewing my club membership, but I know PLENTY of folk who are Saints supporters and who have found the whole episode of the "Dwarf firing incident" to be a poor reflection on the players involved, and the club itself. Me? I am just embarrassed by the whole thing, and so should the players.
