I'm with you Jiggster, for me it is a simple compromise, a Friday night game, because by then everyone who is going to church has gone and you tie it in with RCH appeal.
Who could argue with the AFL raising a 100 grand or more for the RCH.
I am a Christian and I don't have a problem with it.

For a second I thought GF stood for Grand Final. If they can get AD to guarantee us a game on grand final day that would be an achievement. Even better if it's against the Dogs.

It's all about a personal promise that Demetriou made to Ron Evans... Evans didn't believe in footy on Good Friday & his disciple Vlad made somewhat of a death bed promise.
