of the new video review cameras?

are they fitted at Etihad or just MCG

as there did not appear to be an On ground referral..- so can only assume it was 4th or 5th umpire...

Pretty sure it was first used in the Collingwood v Eagles game the other friday, then one last friday during swans v hawks so I think he's the 3rd victim

The ball hit the post. Correct decision made!

The first victim was StKFC 24 September 2009, the ball hit the post. Incorrect decision made!

Quite a few idiot "pundits" eg. Hutchy sitting on his chubby ass - parroted the phrase "summed up Kosi's career". In what bizzare universe is hitting the point post which virtually every AFL player will do in their time, a relevant summary of his 200 game career?

Ok I continue to learn my lesson-

over explain as no one gets my thought process-

when suggesting Kosi may have been the First victim
- I realise they used the system a couple of weeks ago and decided to continue to use it to the end of the year

My point was meant to be- was the ' video'er' ( the person watching the camera) the one to make the call -
rather than on ground officials calling for the vision to be checked,.

have there been any other calls made since it's introduction that came from the vision and not from an onfield official asking ...

Yes. The process has not changed. The display panel of review screens available to the Score Review Official (SRO) has changed. From the outset, a score review was able to be initiated by a field umpire or the SRO prior to the recommencement of play. With a behind, there is very little opportunity for the SRO to intervene. With a goal, the new video screens set up enables all available camera angles to be viewed simultaneously, rather than one after the other. The SRO has more chance of intervening.
